The knock was they Big Ten had only three good teams. Well, it's not a knock anymore. They have the #1 overall seed and 3 of the final 8 teams.
Hey sometimes being top heavy isn't so bad.

And hopefully whoever wins the Nova/UNC game destroys Wisconsin. The Badgers play some ugly ugly basketball.

I'll deny them their mouthing off rights--they played Bucknell and Vermont to get to the Sweet 16 and while they are there which is a credit to them, it sure didn't hurt them that upsets happened in their favor. I stick by what I said earlier and have seen--this league is at an all time low talent wise. MSU and Illinois are solid teams but Wisconsin is what rest of the league is like except they are better coached and mentally tough. Most Big 10 guys couldn't start in any other major conference outside of Illinois or Michigan State rosters.
Happy as hell that Duke is gone though and Izzo should get Coach of the Year for that alone. NC State peformed as they are--crappy. UNC gets in trouble when tempo is slowed to a halfcourt oriented game and the opposing team isn't afraid of them. Still 3 games left for Roy to screw them up too.
Nova's going to really be a beast next year to deal with. They will have a problem of figuring out how to work all of the players minutes--as they add some good players in recruiting class, but I like them, UConn, and Louisville with Pitt, GU, WVU bringing up next tier. Don't know enough about DePaul or Marquette to comment and for some reason I see Cuse taking a step back as I don't like their Rising Jr Class--McCroskey, Nichols, etc.. SJU, SH, and Providence could be sleepers and Cincinnati comes off as the program who will be hurt by facing Big East competition. Huggins is a shaky coach and his physical style won't intimidate Big East teams. He'll have to coach and they'll have to play SMART which I don't see happening.
