So this is basically an admission of guilt by the university, as a parent, there would be no way I'd allow my child to attend Louisville.

From a cheating perspective, the Big East has come out ahead with the departures of Syracuse and Louisville. Well be very interesting to see where those programs end up once Boeheim and Pitino call it quits.

Louisville self-imposing post season ban this year. Press conference in half hour with the details. Will have to see how gory it is here. I think they are gonna get more than just that. I'm not so sure. UL can argue that no academic improprieties occurred (just recruiting improprieties by a former rogue assistant coach). I can see loss of scholarships being imposed, but I think the post-season ban for one year is all that the NCAA is going to give Louisville.

That may be all for the school but they arent gonna let a head coach get away with this

On the plus side that bubble just got a bit softer.

Pitino will be hit with the "lack of institutional control" hammer with which the NCAA hit Jim Boeheim and Larry Brown. Maybe Ricky chooses to walk away; it seems that the UL chancellor announced the voluntary recusal without telling him it was coming down.

I expect it to be a very large hammer on Pitino too. I say they give him a full year suspension and a show cause.
