There is a lot of talent out there, they just don't go to Nebraska. It's a football school, always will be.

Hunter didn't "decide" to leave. It was "decided" for him. This. His and Brennan's exit has been the desired result from quite a few following the program. Not that III is without fault in terms of recruiting and stuff, but from what I've been made aware of Hunter and Brennan were pretty bad on that front. Nice guys though.

Yeahhhhh...I kinda feel like we weren't too disappointed by this one. Might've been a nudge.

For Hunter no doubt, there was a nudge from above.
However, for Brennan, that worked out well for everyone. An assistant getting a D1 head coaching job without even having to move his family is a pretty sweet deal and I doubt Brennan would have said no to that opportunity regardless of how well he was performing for the Hoyas. It also reflects well on JT3 to place another assistant as a head coach.
Good luck to both men, they did what they could to elevate Georgetown basketball and I appreciated it.

Huh? Georgetown has the seventh largest basketball budget in the nation, $10 million, of which the head coaches' salary is roughly 20 percent of this. A lot of sports at Georgetown can justly complain about a lack of salary resources to retain its best coaches, but men's basketball just isn't one of them. You made my point for me, after III gets his big salary, there is nothing left for the staff. The B1G has several asst. coach make $500K. As far the corn kids, there is a lot of talent out there, didn't Otto come from SW MO? You realize that Georgetown just added an assistant from a B1G school, right?

GEORGETOWN WILL NEVER EVER BE ABLE TO COMPETE WITH A B1G SCHOOL FOR ASSISTANT COACHES AND WILL CERTAINLY NEVER BE ABLE TO HIRE AN ASSISTANT COACH FROM A B1G SCHOOL

What does that say, perhaps he wasn't going anywhere in the B1G. Being able to hire big time coaches goes to the booster big bucks contribution level, at Georgetown it is sad. A smaller percentage of the alum that are successful, just don't give back to Georgetown

He helped beat Syracuse once with a couple of 3s.
