(via Deacon) According to Alex Kline and Cheatham himself, GU has offered.
6'7"-6'8" 200-205lb PF out of Westwind Academy in Phoenix. 4 stars on Rivals/Scout. Oregon, USC, Purdue, ASU, Memphis, Cal, Nebraska among others offering. On his Twitter he calls himself a point forward.
Found some video from last fall. Coaches must have liked what they saw at EYBL.

insider.espn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/evaluation/_/id/169195/zylan-cheathamUpdated 03/14/2013 Strengths: Long arms, big hands, and D-I athleticism describes this young thoroughbred. He is exceptional in the open court due to his clever handle and slick passing. He has the skill and basketball acumen to get into the lane at will and finish or drop off a pass to an open teammate. His vision is impeccable and his decision making in traffic can be high-level at times.
Weaknesses: Cheatham is a consistent jump shot away from being ranked among the nations elite. He slings his shot and as a result it's quite erratic and inconsistent. In addition, he needs to continue to improve his point guard skills in the half court set. Game management, pick and rolls/pops, and running a team will elevate his stock.
Bottom Line: Cheatham will be a heavily recruited prospect due to his length, skill, and athleticism. His point forward skills are very intriguing.Very interesting to hear that a 6-7 prospect has to improve his PG skills...

If he could shoot he’d be a top 30 kid…UNM and ASU are out front but rumor is he’s waiting on UCLA. USC looks to be a factor as well...

insider.espn.go.com/blog/dave-telep/post/_/id/3580/notebook-francis-wiggins-and-more• The best part about the spring period is the emergence of new players on the national scene in roles they previously didn’t occupy. Junior small forward Zylan Cheatham (Phoenix/Westwind Prep), a strong student, said San Diego State, Georgetown, Arizona State and USC are on him the hardest. Washington and Oregon also like this former football standout, while Cheatham’s dream school is national champion Louisville.

Now if we could sign someone named Robb, we'd have a duo of Robb and Cheatham.

I couldn't access the article but the kid's game reminds me alot of Otto's. He seems to have a better handle. I don't think he is a need with Ike on board but you can't have too many slashers/drivers in my book...............

Also require another final four banner to make a run at guys like him I think it’s more of the fact that he’s a west coast kid than anything else. His list is mostly WC teams like Ucla, Az, Unlv, Cal etc...

georgetown.247sports.com/Article/Zylan-Cheatham-On-His-Hoyas-Offer-131134“Of course it’s a big time offer for me,” said Cheatham. “Georgetown is a historical powerhouse pretty much. They have top of the line academics and they did some really good things on the court this year. Being able to talk to JTIII, Kevin [Broadus] and guys like that, they’re all great guys so the offer meant a lot to me.” He proved to be just as knowledgeable of the Hoyas system and has even had his game compared to a former Georgetown forward. “Georgetown had a very good run this year,” said Cheatham. “Otto Porter looked great in the Hoyas system and he and I have similar games from what I have been told. That’s pretty much what I am being recruited for, to do something similar to [Porter], just to be an all-around player. So by watching that, I have a good imagination, I kind of imagine myself doing something similar. It is definitely going to impact my decision.”
