Maybe he is waiting on UNC sanctions to play out. Would be smart if that is where he is leaning.

Oooh, is now the part where we get mad because a young man is taking time making an important decision and we're getting impatient because it will affect our entertainment options? In before it gets too weird!
Oh, it's already too late for that? Cool.

Etomic I'm with you. I've been saying that by the time Woods left his Georgetown visit he had a strong idea of where he was going. Remember it's been documented that he has unofficially visited both South Carolina and UNC several times. He has sat in the offices of both head coaches. Met with a professor or two in his potential majors, eaten at the cafeteria, seen them in practice, in games and played pick up ball with them. He knew everything he needed to know about those schools long before his official visits. The only thing new he says he viewed on his official to South Carolina was the brand new dorms that just opened at the beginning of this semester, but he didn't need an official visit to drive down the street to campus to see the new housing. His official to Georgetown was the 1st time he had been on campus and got a feel for what Georgetown has to offer academically, athletically and socially. Once he left Georgetown, I believe he had an idea where he was going. Maybe he was using the officials to South Carolina and UNC to confirm his decision or maybe just to have some fun. Maybe both! I also don't believe the narrative that he isn't enjoying the attention he is receiving from the coaches and media. If it really bothered him, he post a video or tweet his decision and get it over with. You can tell the kids that aren't interested in all the attention. Jagan Mosely, Tyler Foster, Jessie Govan, Issac Copeland are kids that aren't in it for the attention. I can name a bunch of other kids that don't drag out their recruiting and have committed to other schools shortly after their visits. I absolutely believe he knows where he is going. He has known for a while and I don't think it's Georgetown. I don't know. I think you are being pretty hard on him and reading way too much into it. Pretty understandable and normal for a teenager to go back and forth on the decision about where to go to college. Honestly, it would be weirder if he didn't. I have worked with a lot of D1 athletes while their in high school and trust me when I state to you, they don't flip flop about the decision itself. They waver or flip flop about how their decision is going to be perceived by their peers, coaches and possibly their parents. The first step most of them go through is deciding if they want to stay local or go away. Once they make that decision, everything else is the narrative and perception of their decision and what method they want to use to deliver the decision. Is it possible that Woods truly in his heart doesn't know yet where he wants to take his talents, isn't heavily leaning one way or another and needs another month to figure it?? Like Kevin Garnett screams "ANYTHINGS POSSIBLE". But I'm more in a Flava Flave belief mode "I DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE".

He just hasn't leaked anything or given any inklings. If he hadn't made his decision, why would he set a deadline to announce? I know that happens often and guys push the dates back but that would be uncharacteristic of how he's handled the whole process. Seventh seems like a guy that is doing the whole process right. Right down to contacting coaches before his announcement. The only thing missing is his announcement of a decision that, fairy clearly, he's already made. It seems to me that he's handled his college search better than most kids including those that aren't being offered full scholarships for a sport. Tip of the cap to him. I hope he's a Hoya in the end but I also feel like he's going to pick the place that suits him best and so I'll wish him well and watch his games regardless.

There is chatter on twitter and other places that Seventh Woods is going to UNC's Late night with Roy event. Take what you want from that.

What about attending this party at UNC means Seventh will commit there? Do all the kids who come to our Midnight Madness commit to us? Seems like a big lack of faith.

If he does; it's definitely over. I think it's been pretty much over for us when he didn't come to our Midnight Madness. For us it's over. It's between UNC and South Carolina.

Would seem weird to take an OV there a month ago then come back for midnight madness and not go there.. We never have had that happen. Plus he is driving there on his own, UnC isn't paying for this.

Anybody know how many kids UNC can still take ?
I assume 2 more. They have Rawle Alkins and Udoka Azubuike coming to their midnight madness event, but those guys don't seem to be picking a school soon

Then visiting USC after that. Cue the Roxette: "It must have been love, but it's over now.."

insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncbrecruiting/on-the-trail/insider/post?id=14687Article about recruiting visits, including section on everyone heading to UNC this weekend... Surprisingly, Seventh Woods (No. 53) is also expected to be in Chapel Hill this weekend. He's already taken his official visit to North Carolina, as well as South Carolina and Georgetown, but he'll apparently get in another trip to see the Tar Heels -- and is also expected to stop at South Carolina on Saturday. Woods is planning to make his decision on November 11.
