That's not a confirmation. It's very vague. In fact I would read into it that he isn't coming back. Because if he was, it would simply be a matter of saying Greg will be back. Anticipates means he expects him back; what does Greg say on the matter? Does he anticipate coming back? This from GW's twitter acct, Take it for what it's worth I guess.. @greghoya2 Ready To Ride Next Year!! Squad Ready @jt55ive #Hoyas #dreamchasin 👌💯 http://instagram.com/p/X3sNO4mAD-

Nah, enj is correct and Greg is incorrect about his own status and intentions. Oh - as is Coach Thompson and Greg's other teammates.
Really it's silly trying to make something out of this Whit situation. He was suspended for a specific period of time for violating a specific rule and ALL signs (his coach, himself, his teammates, and the media) point to him being back in the fall. Lets give the random speculation and trolling a break for a while....or at least till Kenner.

Looking forward to next year. This roster has some depth and should be very good at 4 of the 5 positions.

Anticipates means he expects him back; what does Greg say on the matter? Geez, you guys are going to drive yourselves nuts. In the WPost Liz Clark quoted III as if he was definite on Greg and Josh making up for Otto's departure next season. Maybe Liz did a horrible job in relaying an inaccurate quote, maybe the other guy from that other "newspaper" did a bad job. Have faith, think positive and assume all is well until you learn otherwise.

Brilly's jumper looking good in Yates...sharpshooter in there He should live in the gym until he can walk away with a reliable in-game jumper.

Greg has to become an all around player just like Porter if he is to lead the team. He must be more selective when to pull up and shoot the long ball and when to drive to the hoop. If he can improve in these two key areas we will be unstoppable. The other thing is Porter was deadly from 9-10 feet.

let's not forget that there will be Seniors leading this team next year. discussions of what Greg "has to do" (I love that expression as used by fat-ass, armchair point guards) should not be couched in terms of team leadership when you have two Sr. starters who, whether you purists like it or not, are going to lead the 13-14 Hoyas. Call it 5 on 3, dis Markel's prospects for playing professionally (as though any recent grad "needed it" less), say whatever you want, this team belongs to thundersnow and the congressman. oh, and Caprio;-)

seaweed, you are just flat out wrong. Greg Whittington will be an important, if not the factor, next year.

Seaweed is wrong about what? Seniors starters leading the team? That makes no sense.
Of course Greg will be an integral piece next year. Nobody is denying that, no need to put words in seaweed's mouth. But Markel will still be more important and Nate will be important as well. The fact that they are seniors only affirms that.

With the team being lead by Markel Starks and Greg Whittington, it will take a team effort of everyone to step to make a run in the NCAA's...as far as the regular season, I think there is little thought if the Hoyas will be okay during the OCC and Conference games.
