Yeah its kind of weird that they chose those guys. I guess they go to three huge schools, but wouldnt you also chose Noel by that logic as Kentucky is by far the biggest basketball school right now? But with IU you would chose Oladipo because he was chosen higher. Very odd. Hope to catch some of Otto's games later this week. Will be fun/sad to watch him play with other players in a different system.

It looks as if the Georgetown Club of Las Vegas will be planning on going to the Tues Jul 16, 7pm game against Denver to cheer for Otto.

I don't much mind the "Porter has to pick up the pace" article even though it is slight dig at Georgetown's style of play, but why does no one ever write about former Syracuse players having to learn to play man defense after playing 2-3 zone exclusively or former Louisville players having to learn to play half-court offense and defense after relying on full court press and turnovers or former Duke players having to learn that they will no longer draw foul calls every time they fall down? I think those are actually much bigger transitions that have been harder to make.

FWIW, one of the GM/Coach types interviewed during one of the games did mention that evaluating the SUcks prospects was more difficult 'cause they play no man.
