I apologize for the intrusiveness of this thread, but I am trying to firm up travel plans from out of the country.
Thanks for all your help in advance.

No, I don't think they set the times until Friday night, iirc. There might be a preset time for the session, I'm not sure, but they can switch the order of the games if so.

Last year on Sunday, CBS took Georgetown-NC State as the first game of the day. If my memory is correct, CBS gets that time slot to itself with no games on TBS or TNT, which start later. Had Duke not lost on Friday night, CBS probably would have put Duke in that slot. So if Duke and Georgetown both win, I am hoping CBS will put Duke at 12:15 or so, then we'd play at 2:45. That would be ideal. But if not, then we could be playing at almost any time of the day, which is pretty annoying for travelers.

Lets focus on Friday first. One game at a time. No looking ahead

Did some searching and could not come up with much. The best info I see is some of the ticket re-sellers are listing game time as 12:00pm. Will probably have something like a 12:15 start for the first game

Last year's Sunday games were at 12:15 then 2:45 in Columbus, then starting the other sites at 5:10, 6:10, and 7:10 with the other games at that site starting after. Did a quick check and two years ago Washington played Friday night at 10:08 in Charlotte then had to play UNC Sunday at 12:15, so that wouldn't be a disqualifier for our time. If I was betting, Duke-Creighton would get a 12:15 timeslot followed by us, but I think we could play at basically any time Sunday.

For what it's worth, the ticket request through the MyHoyas account listed the session as starting at 12:34. As others have pointed out, that could be our game or it could be the game directly after that one.

Why would CBS put the game they expect to get the most eyeballs for at noon. When you are hoping the name Duke will generate some interest you are relying on the causal fan to increase the amount of viewership. The casual fan is not going to make an effort to watch a game, meaning they will probably be doing something with their Sunday rather than just channel surfing in the middle of the afternoon. I am hoping for a more primetime game such as 5 and 7.

Seriously, though, they dont know the times for the games on Sunday, yet. It could be any time. Trust me. We've all been watching the tourney for several years, and we go thru this every season. We had no idea when we would play NC St last year.

As someone who has a (changeable) 7:15 PM ticket back from Philly, I really hope that we play sometime in the afternoon. If we play late, I have to fly back to Austin early so I won't miss the game, which I'd much rather see in person.
Looking at my cable box schedule, it appears the latest we could conceivably play is 9:30 PM (EDT).
Haven't the Sunday games ended before CBS aired 60 Minutes in the past? Or am I thinking of the later round games?

Just checked the schedule for Sunday. CBS has games at 12:00 and 2:30 from one location, then a game at 5:00. The second game at that location will be played at 7:30 on TruTV. TNT has another location at 6 and 8:30, and the final site will have games at 7 and 9:30 on TBS. If Duke doesn't get upset, you can pretty much guarantee CBS takes them. Since they are the day session in Philly, they go first at either 12 or 5. Assuming we win (knock on wood), that puts us at either 2:30 or 7:30.
Personally, I am trying to go from DC to Philly and then to NY for work. I am really, really, really hoping for 2:30. But I guess we'll see.

Unfortunately the earliest we will probably know is Friday after the games finish. That's when CBS will set their Sunday lineup.

The other game CBS will definitely pick up is the potential Kansas Vs UNC matchup. There is no way they let that one slip to one of the secondary channels.

I was just looking at the bracket to try to figure this out myself to help HoyaChris (great guy that he knows I am), and reached the same conclusion, 3xHoya. And what that also means, when you look at the pods/fact that the UNC/Kansas and potentially KState/Wiconsin matchup are both in the midwestern time zone Kansas City, Mo location, is that I am very confident our game will be in the noon or 2:30 slot from Philly, and the 5 and 7:30 games will be the Kansas City games. A really odd set of upsets could change that, I imagine, but with one seed Kansas you assume a lock to make it to Sunday (and at worst play Villanova), if I had to make international travel plans (and not just drive up I-95 plans) that's what I would count on... P.S. it's also possible I guess that the Dayton location could have Notre Dame/Ohio State and Indiana/NCState as sexier match-ups/teams and steal the noon/2:30 CBS slots, with the Duke love being so overwhelming that we and they get bumped to the 5/7:30 slots on CBS -- but I think the odds are even better that pod of Dayton games would move to the 5/7:30 take the Kansas/UNC slot instead of taking our noon/2:30 position (all those midwesterners would still be at/returning from church for the 11AM eastern time tip off). So, I stick by my "if I were coming in from London, what would I do?" analysis and say assume the noon/2:30 time (and hope we get to watch our new brother school Creighton take down the Dookies to complete a perfect afternoon).
