phenomhoopreport.com/big-shots-i-myrtle-beach-part-i/Player: 7’0 Elbert Robinson Class: 2014 Address: Garland, TX HS: Lakeview Centennial HS AAU: Dallas Seawolves 17U Claimed Offers: Georgetown, Kansas, Louisville, Ohio State, and SMU Evaluation: What’s not to like about a 7’0 wide body with a 7’5 wingspan? Robinson is a massive space eater and one of the more intriguing prospects in the country. Coach Rick Pitino (Louisville) and Coach Thad Matta (Ohio State) were both front in center expressing their desired interest in Robinson. The southpaw has soft hands and moves his feet surprisingly well for his size. He is excellent (naturally) in the pick and roll situation. The next step in his overall development is his conditioning.

Apologies he was there… Good news Brandon Ogden @brandonosports 7h John Thompson III, Kevin Stallings and Scott Cross (UTA) among coaches watching Dallas Seawolves and Texas Titans. Hopefully he got a good look at 5 star center Tyler Davis of the Texas Titans also ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Yeah, I should clarify my analogy. I mean to say that Elbert sounds like the quintessential JT3 center like Pat Sr is the quintessential Pops center. I also hope the analogy extends like this... Elbert:2015::Patrick:1984 ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Elbert:2015::Patrick:1984 ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I was going to try and do an analogy with the 2014 class and the Ewing class, but hopefully two members of the 2014 class don't transfer (Anthony Jones, Elvado Smith) and none of them experience a serious injury (Ralph Dalton).

Elvado Smith was part of the great Patrick Ewing recruiting class, along with Dalton, Bill Martin and Anthony Jones. A 6'2" guard from Maryland, Vadi was a good scorer in high school, but not a highly touted recruit. At Georgetown, he saw little floor time as a freshman and even less as a sophomore. He transferred before his junior year.

Looks like our 2014 recruits are going to be together and will try to talk to Elbert - good news! What is the event in Vegas that they'll all be there for? From Tre's ask.fm feed: ask.fm/Tretc3You, Isaac and LJ gonna talk to Elbert Robinson this week in Vegas? Of course.
