Just wondering how he feels about his choice now. Sure hope this wonderful season helps convince those recruits on the fence what JT III and staff can do for them (e.g. Otto).

Not sure about that kid, but if Nerlens Noel didn't have his awful injury, kentucky would be a top 20 team and he would probably be National Defensive player of year. Do I wish he came, yeah, but he was a top 3 pick anda one and done no matter where he played. I agree that if recrutis can't see how JTIIIs big men translate into great pros (green, hib, monroe, etc.) then they arent for this program.

There are different angles to take with Noel Nertens..he is a 1 and doner and the Hoyas have only landed 1 type recruit like that which is Greg Monroe, who could have left after his Freshmen year. With that said I think Noel Nertens flirted with the Hoyas but never intended on becoming a Hoya. He would have been asked to play more at the high post, set screens, read defenses and be able to pass for Georgetown. At Kentucky he can camp out at the low post/gain position and get his rebounds and dunk/layups without being asked to read what the defense is doing.
The best way to get top rank recruits on the fence is deep runs in the NCAA Tourney that is how we were able to get those 3 McDonald AA's..Monroe, Wright, Freeman...winning is the post-season is a recruiting tool for that type of recruit

Wasn't there something earlier this winter about him hating UCLA?

I'd guess that winning cures lots of ills, and UCLA won the Pac 12 outright, led the conference in scoring, and plays at the conference's fastest pace.

Yep, that's all accurate, even though Ben Howland doesn't know how to coach offense. Rebounding is UCLA's biggest problem, and Kyle is their best rebounder. If not UCLA, he probably would have been Seton Hall's best rebounder. So forget about him.
