Hopefully now we're headed west as the #2 seed

Also, Cinci should've hired Andy Kennedy instead of Creepy Cronin. Not sure if that was a joke. U know Cronin took Kennedy's spot at Cinci when they fired him right?

This Miami/UNC game just makes me realize what a huge opportunity our league missed when Larranaga decided not to take the job at his alma mater. No disrespect to Ed Cooley, but Larranaga looks to be on another level. Not really… He can coach but not sure Larranaga can recruit. He inherited those kids, they’re also the oldest team in College BBAll by a wide margin.

IIRC Kennedy was the interim coach after Huggy resigned, finishing out the 05-06 season, but Cinci decided not to keep him on as the permanent head coach, so he went to Ole Miss and has been there since 06-07.

Impossible to say, obviously. But I think during the league transition, having another coach with Final Four on his resume couldn't hurt.

Lunardi still stated that Florida was his last 2 seed, but he would possibly "reconsider" Georgetown over Florida. It's too bad we didn't get a chance to play and beat them at the beginning of the year.

Kennedy probably saved his job at Ole Miss for now. Fans and students were calling for his head during the late season slump..... Cooley was a good hire for Providence. Good coach and recruiter and great man.... Time will tell about Larranago at The U.

Lunardi's bracket at 2:58 am this morning, still posted at ESPN, has us at #2. Then an update later this morning had FL at #2. Of course, absolutely nothing changed during that time. So he really has no clue; he's just guessing like everyone else at this point.

Don't you think it's more likely that Lunardi is getting some information from his "sources" when he changes something seemingly for no reason? Like a few years ago when he revised his "final" bracket right before the selection show...

Correct me, but I have not seen anything from the post about our Hoya's seeding...have they jump on the bandwagon?

Lunardi's latest bracket has the Hoyas back on the 2 line in the west facing Pacific in the first round.
