This is from Andy Katz today...interesting location...
Tulane athletic director Rick Dickson is expected to talk to Maryland assistant coach Dave Dickerson, Alabama assistant Orlando Early, former Georgetown coach Craig Esherick and Samford coach Jimmy Tillette for the men's basketball head coaching job. Dickson might also talk to Northeastern coach Ron Everhart.

Might be a good fit for Craig - could carve out his own niche, not have to follow JTII. Might want to tone down his "confidence" a little, though - you want expectations, but you don't want to pump them too high right out of the box.

I'll attest to that. Dan did post it last week. As for his confidence, I think that quote re: N Mex St. was blown way out of proportion. For all we know, the reporter may have asked him -- given your entire history in hoops has been at GU in DC, do you think you'd be a good coach in a place as far removed and different as N. Mex St? "I think I'd be a heckuva coach". Hey, who knows how it went down. But if he doesn't think he'd be a good coach... he won't be.
