Make tough basketball plays and stop posing like you're going to do something. Dudes like that kill me. Square up like Perry McDonald if you're so tough. Play real D like Gene Smith if you're so tough. do all of that and then take a basketball in the face To piggy back here, take a basketball in the face and have the presence of mind not to retaliate and take a stupid foul.

I hope Bril gets the chance at a hard foul on MCW Just thinking about individual Syracuse players over the years it is unbelievable karma hasn't touched them yet. Uconn's been taken care of though, so maybe Syracuse it's next. It's just ridiculous that nothing bad every happens to that program or team.

Don't understand the dislike of Jabril's demeanor. I look back at all the talent on that 09 team and I can remember is how incredibly soft that team was. Jabril is perfect for this team with the toughness he provides. He provides an edge and often sets the tone early in games. You hate these type of players when you're rooting against them but should love em for these hoyas

I do worry that, especially with the intense, wild atmosphere at the Dome Saturday, the refs will be overly touchy trying to keep things under control, and they could overreact to Bril standing up to an orangeboy. I am sure JTIII will mention this to him, though, and Bril knows we need him to better our chances.

With the anticipation and excitement building, I'm not sure why anyone would decide this is a good time to make negative comments about our players.

To piggy back the piggy back, this is also the guy who took an incredibly hard foul at Cincy, and just got up. The dude is tough as nails and level headed at the same time. Doesn't take bad shots, and plays within himself. I mean, Bril took out Parker on Cincy going up for a layup, while having the wherewithal to make a behind the back pass to Lubick last night when he was covered. He's smart and tough and want that every night on my team.

Jabril is a great asset to the team who brings a little of the old Hoya persona to the team. He would have fit in on any of the JT Jr teams for which I cheered.

And who can forget Chris Otule hitting the floor like a ton of bricks after a shoulder from Jabril? Love this kid.

I'm so excited about this game, I don't even know what to post! +1 I don't even know I can watch the game, as it is on CBS, which I should be able to see, because I get too nervous. Might have to record it and if we win, look at it (over and over and over again).

Well Carmelo is playing for the Knicks--which is a curse on both houses, I guess.

But can't say nothing bad happens to that program - they seem to have had some bad luck with injuries/ineligibility in recent years just before the NCAA tournament.

Does anyone have the CBS coverage map for this game? No need CBS only showing Hoyas in that time slot. There is no other game.

"fake tough guy"? What would he have to do to become a "real tough guy" in your eyes. Make tough basketball plays and stop posing like you're going to do something. Dudes like that kill me. Square up like Perry McDonald if you're so tough. Play real D like Gene Smith if you're so tough. It doesn't hurt to have a little attitude on your squad. Big John's teams had maybe 2-3 guys every year if not more. McDonald, Jaren Jackson and Boubacar Aw to name a few. Not to mention the many big men over the years. It's even more beneficial when the player brings a nasty attitude and can actually play, like the guys i named above. i would include Jabril in that mix. Big John would play him 35 mpg just to make life miserable for the opponent's best perimeter player if nothing else... Speaking of Boubavar Aw, this is a game you'd love to have him to hound and physically manhandle Carter-Williams' all game long...
