Their game just ended. I think our extra two hours of rest will make the difference.

So I thought that in BE play you play everyone once and three teams twice. But this year we play Marquette, SJU, Rutgers, and Cuse twice each. Where am I wrong on this?

Here's hoping Otto got his poor shooting game out of the way for a huge game on Monday. He was clutch today but really struggled until the end so I think he comes up huge against Marquette.
I'm hoping Moses can give us serviceable minutes for some bulk against Gardner who has to me on of the most annoying players to watch. The showboating, chest pounding and whiny feet stomping when he doesn't get a call drives me insane.
I know some might disagree but I thought our zone was actually decent today, we just couldn't rebound out of it. With Marquette being such a poor 3 point shooting team, I wonder if we throw some zone at them for a bit to see how it works. Keeping Nate in the lineup might help us be able to crash the boards better.

I'm happy with 17-4 and 7-3 from a team that's so young and largely unproven, plus losing GW and limited front court resources. Man, III can coach.

Never satisfied, but happy. As I said in the other thread; imagine if we had top tier talent and depth.

This is the biggest non Syracuse game of the year. We win and we're in first place in the Big East. This is a must win game.
Statistics show that the team who wins the home game of a home and home in narrow fashion tend to lose the road game soundly. Hopefully that holds true.
We should have won that game. We're the better team. Let's show it on the court. Can't get out toughed. Box out lock down on D. Cut hard.
I'd like to see us sell some calls more. Teams always bump and hold us on our cuts I wish we'd throw our arms up more with this happens to try to get the refs to call it. Jay Bilas has been talking about this of late and that the Refs need to clean this up so offenses can have more flow .

Porter Jr did that towards the end of the game and the refs called an off the ball foul on Miller.

Also I agree completely with what ID was saying. Next year will be really interesting if Josh is playing. If one of the other big guys can get minutes then now the team has tons of front court depth. Something JTIII hasnt had in a while.

Gardener concerns me down low, with his bullying style of play.
For some reason Im still not convinced Marquette is an upper echelon big east team.
Their biggest conference win was probably beating us 49-48, and catching Pitt at the right time.
They have 2 wins over South Florida, and 1 over Providence, Seton Hall, and Depaul.
Im still not buying them
