One of favorite Hoya games of all time because of the atmosphere. Hopefully tomorrow will be even better. Unfortunately I will be in front of the TV, not in the gym. Let us hear you, Hoya fans!

Any other memories of the Hoyas' pasting of UTEP?

The game started about 45 minutes late because the UTEP team bus was stuck in traffic. Needless to say, the crowd was a little antsy by tipoff. My flask was empty by the time the game started.

Halftime score was something like 43-11?

When it became clear that it was basically unfair to expect them to play in front of our crowd with about 3 minutes left in the half the crowd stopped toying with Opie for a while and cheered "Lets Go UTEP" until UTEP finally broke into double digits shortly before halftime.

I posted in another thread but go no answer to this, does anyone know how many students attended that game? To me it seemed to be 75% students or more but that is just the recollection of an old man of a drunken evening.
