On Otto: I think he's coming along fine. I think he'll be available, but that's up to our medical staff, he's progressing. It's mild, it's not moderate and it's not serious.
Greg On wincing in pain late in the game ... It was a little cramp. I'll be alright.

Best news on Otto was that it was a mild concussion. He should be back soon - and he looked plenty fine on the bench tonight. My big concern was an eye injury.
Greg was fine - the announcers kept saying he hurt his knee but it was clear to anyone watching that it was a muscle cramp.

Good lord he gets fatter every time you see him. Would like to see a Meeks vs. Smith show/chowdown.

I will probably eat my words for saying this, but UCLA is probably one of the most favorable ranked teams we could play right now. They are not good, and even playing a tight game with a ranked team on a neutral court will do great things for this team's confidence.

The best player they have when they face us will be Jordan Adams, DSR's running mate from last year. I hope he helps us scout and quiet him. But Whitt on him and it should be game over. If Nate and Mikael can help to neutralize their post presence this is a very winnable game. Man do I wish Shabazz was playing though..

Have JTIII and Howland ever coached against each other? I can't remember when we had that series with UCLA (Esherick era?).
In any event, Howland prefers man-to-man defense which might help us out a little.

I could have sworn that they did, but 02-03 was Howland's last at Pitt, so I guess not.
