Alright, it's a little dramatic but I really think this is a huge moment in Hoyas hoops. It's more than just a "cool thing" but signals a real change in mindset. We had a webcast for our last game, allowing fans everywhere access to watch their Hoyas. Now, we not only have a home game at McDonough in the postseason but one televised on ESPN.
This is the kind of game a recruit can tune into and it will make them want to come to Georgetown. Pack the arena, add a "JTIII as COY candidate" comment here and there, sprinkle in a "Jeff Green was Big East ROY" a couple times, mention the power of the new Big East, and then cue the crowd erupting as Brandon throws one down to put us up 27-8.
This is a big moment for Hoya hoops. Maybe, just maybe, the commitment we've wanted all along is beginning to take shape.
Now if they just stop making stupid investment decisions and charging students $45 for a missing light bulb in their dorm room, GU will be set.

I thought this was going to be a thread on the St. John's game. Talk about changing eveything. Ouch. Dog, turn that frown upside down...at least we got a prime-time televised post-season game ON CAMPUS. One thing you can say is that definitely wouldn't have happened if we were in the NCAAs.... Not saying, I wouldn't trade in a second, but that is something special that we haven't had in a while. Enjoy it.

hahaha, Big Dog
I agree though, this could be huge. There were about 15 other students in red square this morning waiting to get tickets for tuesday, none of which I recognized which is good. I think the place is going to sell out with students and it should be 100 times better than the SJSU game, which was alot of fun but right in the middle of finals so not many kids showed up. 1,000+ or so students could turn that place into a madhouse, especially if we are on both sides. Cant wait.....

WOW, that sounds amazing!!! 90% sold out already??? how many non-student tickets are there, and will they allow standing room only along the baselines? That would really make the place awesome and truly intimidating to play in.
