That was some of the worst play calling in critical situations that I have seen since, well, 2009.

I unfortunately wasn't able to watch/listen to the game, but seems like its one we certainly gave away a la Yale. In looking at the box score, we ran the ball 54(!!) times. From those who watched/listened, is this number correct or inflated by rushing attempts by Skon given passing coverage? Anyone else have some take aways? Did Fordham look like a world beater on video? Box score: scores.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=322802230

Fordman's defense is very porous and they got burned twice by Macari simply out-toughing the cornerback.
That having been said, Georgetown relies too much on quarterback runs out of the spread and options instead of using the talent they have. I wonder how much of that is reflective of Skon's inexperience. It really is a throwback to the Matt Bassuener era (2006-07) at QB, except Bassuener was a much more effective player with the limited talent around him. The talent base is improved in 2012, but the execution is a step slow, something that teams are picking up on film every week-again, is it the OC or is it the QB?
Lehigh remains the best defense on the schedule and punishes inexperience. The Engineers walked over Columbia today, 35-14.

Again, Patenaude was the best coach Georgetown had.
