Wow! October cannot get her soon enough.
Sir Daymond (after the Cuse game stunt, you're a Sir), thanks for the Jerry Nichols reference. You aged yourself. Domingo needs to gain more confidence, which will come with PT. The way he almost missed the rim on a FT attempt says it all.

From watching Reggie on the circuit and in H.S through out the years , he has grown into a very talented prospect. He's come a long way. There is still much room to grow , but many of his flaws/weaknesses can be handled with hard-work and coaching on the next level.
1. Reggie isn't afraid to shoot the rock and doesn't need much space to get it off. Kid is money
2. He also has pretty good vision on the court. Can pass out the post and on the break.
3. Handle needs work (he dribbles to high) ..
4. As most frosh coming in: Strength and stamina are a must .. (if he grows and gets stronger , he'd be a perfect 4 in our O)
5. He needs to work on being able to create better off the dribble (but that will come). I've seen him take his man off the dribble in certain games , but it's a part of his game that could really make him a serious weapon and much better player.
6. The main area in need of improvement in my eyes are with his D and quickness. He Will never wow you with his jumping ability or quickness , but he is aggressive.
7. He's worked on his post game and it has gotten better , but this is also an area he must continue to work on.
Over-All we are getting a kid that has played with and against many talented players in this region and his improvement has shown each and every year. If he devotes himself and works on his game , he will have a great career on the Hilltop. In my opinion , he will see time next year and contribute when called on. He's a bright kid with a good head on his shoulder and is absolutely coachable. I look forward to watching him drop bombs from deep.

On Domingo's shooting: I know that this data set is almost completely invalid - but I watched Domingo carefully during pre-game/halftime warmups this year, and he did not look like a good shooter. Not only did he rarely hit his jumper during warmups, but he often did not even come close. He did not get great rotation on his jumper, his balance seemed a little off, etc. He made far, far fewer jumpers than our good shooters (otto, starks, DSR), and even hit far fewer jumpers than a pretty mediocre shooter like Jabril. Again, I know this is not a valid sample - but still, if the guy is a great shooter, you would expect him to hit a decent percentage when shooting uncontested, no pressure warmup shots!

It's all mental with Domingo , I expect him to over-come this.

Gives us something to which to look forward here in late March = Great to see you at the BET too.

Cameron's stroke seems more fluid; Domingo's seems to a little wind up. Not byron leftwich wind up, but it seems long to me.

Actually, I'm hoping that Cameron or Domingo shoots it better. Though Hancock's 37.9% 3 point shooting is good, both Starks and Otto shot it better than Hancock, and Starks took just as many. Hancock was their best deep threat. Next yr, we need DSR to be more consistent from 3. He probably will be.

The potential is incredible with Domingo, Cameron, GW, DSR and Markel; all are able to stroke the 3 well. Gotta get post play to free them up.

I wish we had McGary. I think III could really develop him. Plays well from the high post, rebounds like a demon, and just a freshman. That FT shooting, though... Hope somebody on our team steps it up in the post!

Like most outside shooters, Hancock was inconsistent during the season, but boy, he sure got hot in the last two games. Great for him, and for Louisville, because they don't win without him.

Reggie Cameron = Luke Hancock? Because of his size maybe a James Southerland comparison fits well. Both are one dimensional players. Stretch 4's that can rebound a bit.
