why hasn't he? if MD was his dream school... The vibe I get is that once he started blowing up he wanted to explore all his options. I guess we'll know in a few days.

I had a feeling UMD would figure out a way to blow this whole thing up. Chances that Peters signs with UMD is slim. Not saying Hoyas. Just saying not UMD.

Chances are very high peters will sign with the terps. They have long been considered the favorite, and the twins not coming gives him more of an incentive to come

Hope you guys are right that it won't be UMCP, but it won't shock me if you're not.

Plus Peters has stated he wants to stay relatively close to home. Of course so did Kyle Anderson. So..

Hearing Peters, Phil Booth and Romelo Trimble all likely to be at UMD for MM.

Ugghh. Peters also cancelled his visit to UCLA. I'd say this is looking like MD.

Aw, c'mon! They can't have them all, can they? By the way, who the heck is coming to ours this year? It's amazing how well attended the past few have been and now it seems like we got nobody coming in. Then again, we have far less scholarships to pass around than we did in those prior MMs.

I wonder if there was a suicide watch over at Sports 980 considering the Terp fans over at that station have been talking about the Twins a lot in between discussions of RGIII and the Nats.

Andy Pollin, who is always awful, really showed how out of touch he was in the direct lead up to the announcement. Czaban was able to correct him on a bunch of stuff.
To paraphrase
Andy: Wow this is huge, this stuff is never on TV.
Steve: No this is pretty normal now.
Andy: Well it's pretty unbelievable that a local team is involved.
Steve: Well Georgetown was involved with Noel a few months ago.
There was more but it was bad.

You're looking at kids for 2014, 2015, etc... you hope to bring them in. Locally, for right now, it looks like MD is bringing in the headliners.

Why not? -Better overall recruiters at the assistant level -Much, much better facilities -Far less question marks regarding conference affiliation going forward -A style of play that has not yet been proven to be boring to most players (although it could be seen that way over time); III's system on the other hand has been exposed to the public for around ten years and alot of folks simply don't care for it. People tend to get excited more by the new guy on the block in most situations anyway -The power of UA which is why a few years back I was hoping it would be broken or brought out by Nike. It is a no-brainer unfortunately. Of course III has the power to correct at least one of these issues if not two, but probably won't do so.

Andy Pollie forgot about Noel already? What a shock. Then again it wasn't as if the folks at 980 mentioned him much in the first place.
