Maybe a consolidated thread is a good way to go. Some measurements have been published from the Combine: Henry - 6'10.25" withou shoes and 6'11.25" with shoes - sixth tallest at the combine (only 3/4 of an inch shorter than Fab Melo). A nice 7'4" wingspan. For RDF, he measured out at 7.7% bodyfat, but a svelte 241 pounds. Hollis - 6'6.75"without shoes and 6'8" with shoes. 206 pounds and 6.0% body fat. www.draftexpress.com/article/2012-NBA-Combine-Measurements-Released-3951

www.nbadraftblog.com/2012-articles/june/the-case-forhollis-thompson.htmlThe Good – While Thompson may not have had many chances to show it over the last 3 seasons, he is a more complete offensive threat than he is given credit for. It starts with his jumper. He has excellent form and his size allows him to get great looks on the perimeter. He is able to shoot well off the catch or off the dribble, and he does a good job using screens to get open looks. He has range out to the NBA 3, and he has improved his ability to get good looks in the mid-range area. Thompson is a decent ballhandler, able to use both hands well and control the ball under pressure. He understands spacing on the court, and has good court vision. If he gets past his defender, he can get to the basket quickly, has good body control and can finish strong with either hand.

"The Bad – Thompson spent so much time on the perimeter in college, he needs to show that he consistently take his man off the dribble, or to use screens to get into the lane. His first step could be a bit quicker, and because he shoots so well, he should use shot fakes more to get his defender in the air. While is ballhandling is decent, he needs to work on changing directions quickly and using his dribble more to create room for his jumper. In general, he needs to be more aggressive when looking to make a play. While he can rebound well at times, he needs to use his body more in looking to create space, and go strong after the ball instead of waiting for it to come to him. Defensively, the main thing he needs to continue to improve is his lateral movement. He could be more consistent with his movement, as well as needing to be quicker to guard the perimeter at the NBA level. Overall, he needs to needs to keep his energy level high and his effort consistent."
Can't be total homers. ;D Although the bad, both offensively and defensively, will be solved by Hollis working on his explosiveness. He can finish wherever he is, but his problem is getting around that first guy. Hence while the NBA style pick and roll game is good for him, he doesn't have to beat that guy alone and the Georgetown offense has taught him to make the right read once he comes around that pick (or if he's on the wing, finding spacing to drain a 3). Defensively, the same explosiveness that is used getting past an opponent can be used to stay in front of them. Will Hollis develop to become an elite NBA defender? No, but he needs to so that he can stick around more then just a 6min spot shooter.
I hope Henry gets the chance...he has the size and hands to fit in the NBA just needs to spend some time in pro weight rooms.

So....Loul Deng or Shawne Williams? Mike Miller? I could see a Mike Miller type career...hopefully 12 seasons. Defense will be key. Honestly, I think that unless the Heat blow the team up, Hollis could be a good addition since their 3-pt shooting isn't reliable and Miller is falling apart physically.

Hollis can do more off the dribble than Battier, Jones, and soon Miller also.

www.nbadraft.net/tale-tape-combine-measurements-analysisHenry Sims: 6'10 socks, 6'11.75 shoes, 7'4 wingspan, 8'11 reach Don't think anyone will question whether he's big enough to play center at the next level. Now the only question is whether or not his unique skill-set can translate

The NBA would like to see OKC-Miami, if their website is to be believed: As would almost anyone except for irrational LeBron haters. In terms of "watch-ability", such a series would be far more aesthetic. Now...can we return this thread to its original topic? No offense.

Although I'm not certain how "aesthetic" any series with NBA refs can be, I don't really care who OKC plays because I think either opponent would make for compelling NBA story lines (written by someone who really doesn't care for NBA basketball but that's another story). Staying on topic in threads? What a concept! ;D www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2012/06/michael_kidd-gilchrist_likes_t.html
