Skal is coming to Memphis already with the Lawsons on board and Nick Marshall already committed and recruiting him. It's going to be hard to beat especially considering we are the only school he has visited and numerous times with that. It really is just a Memphis and UK battle and always has been since he blew up. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting a little sick of you coming on a G'town board to brag about how this recruit is a lock for you school. Worse yet is your gloating about Memphis' shady recruiting tactics and ability to get Skal's handler "on board." If you want to compare who's better at cheating the system, perhaps you will be better received at a Kentucky board. Just to clarify, I think all of us here figured Skal wasn't coming here after it was revealed he had a handler.

It almost seems as though tigerj feels like the more often he repeats that Skal is a lock for Memphis, the more likely it will happen. Maybe it will, but anybody who follows recruiting knows that players make wacky and unexpected decisions all the time.
As I said in a previous post, if Skal was a lock for Memphis, he would have already committed.

I can't believe how phissy some of you get when he comes and pumps his own tires. Who cares. Don't respond to him if it bothers you that much. Or better still just don't read it.
He isn't putting Georgetown down or ripping on the Hoyas.

Is tigerj channeling hifi or am I just extra cranky these days? IMO, he's channeling balla.

Skal's enrolled in high school just can't play per Tennessee transfer rules. They are looking to appeal for him to play. He goes to a top flight private school now 10 minutes from Memphis and it has a strong academic background so Skal will not graduate early from Lassuane. Ok just repeating what I heard on the Rivals boards from a UK fan. Apparently they're considering withdrawing him form schoola nd home schooling him if he can't play and creating their own travel team for him. I know the UK fan you are talking about WalltoRondo and S&C are two dumb UK fans with a grudge against Pastner. The homeschooling idea was before Hamilton enrolled Skal into Lassaune. Skal will either play or not play high school basketball his final year but he will still be in good academic standing coming out of Lassaune.

In other news, all of the necessary legal and ethical counseling for Skal will be handled by the well known Memphis law firm of Kirk, Finch and Calipari.

@evandaniels: Skal Labissiere (@onebighaitian) tells Scout that he will take an official visit to North Carolina this weekend.

No doubt part of his "academic integrity" tour...

Wait a minute. Did TigerJ tell Skal he doesn't need to visit because he's already a lock for Memphis?

Wait a minute. Did TigerJ tell Skal he doesn't need to visit because he's already a lock for Memphis? In fairness, it was demonstrated a while back that the English program at Memphis is, apparently, somewhat lacking. Maybe a certain poster isn't clear on the definition of the word.

No doubt part of his "academic integrity" tour... Memphis, Kentucky, UNC and Georgetown: one of these things schools is not like the other (schools). If those schools are his top choices and he has a handler, we don't stand a chance, and I'm perfectly find with it.

If he goes elsewhere, even Georgetown, so will tiger.

Surely he need not focus on school work if Memphis is the choice...
