Dude, seriously... are you an assistant coach or scout or something? I just dont see how you can make so many statements with such certainty. "beyond a complete stretch"? Like how would you know what the kid was thinking better than anyone else? Unless you have a personal relationship with the dude's family, or unless you are a GU coach, I just don't understand how you know anything about the specifics of the situation. The benefits of going to events is that you get to talk with College, AAU, HS coaches, players and their parents, Nike people, and Media people. When that happens, a lot can be discussed and when you ask about things--it's amazing how people like to talk and pass along info. Now does that mean they are right? No--but when several people all say same things about certain recruits, then you tend to believe that. If Trocha shows up in a Hoya uniform next season, then great, but I'd not expect for that to be the case based on what everyone who talked about him was saying. And the reason he was brought up--following Houston Hoops-that was team he was rumored to be suiting up for in AAU ball and people asked about him/where he was--as they did with several other kids who were listed on EYBL rosters but didn't show-like Akoy Agou who was listed as All Iowa Attack but didn't show. Tony Trocha info that Tony Parker referenced is very similar to what Ron Briscoe wrote about Trocha re-classifying/Kirby's interest--never did he say Georgetown was leading for him--Briscoe said Kirby was recruiting him for Georgetown. A "stretch" to say that Hoyas were leading because that wasn't true. Kirby's chances of landing him increased significantly by going to LSU and it makes sense why Kirby was watching the Houston Hoops team like a hawk at event--because LSU has better chance for several reasons of recruiting the Houston area then Georgetown. I actually didn't mean to seem like I was attacking you, I was just really curious about how you always seem so well informed. Calling it "beyond a stretch" just made me think that you might know something that isn't as commonly known.

I'd ignore it, RDF. This is the same recruiting genius who said Kethan Savage was an infinitely better player than Josh Hart. Dude, give it a break. Josh Hart isn't that good, period.

Hahaha...well it seems like the majority of high major coaches disagree with you. And every high major coach decided NOT to give Savage an offer. What I find funny really is just that you're such an Episcopal homer. Just another young alum tool with bangs, sperrys and croakies. Didn't even win the IAC this year?? Pathetic.

A lot of players liked Kirby but had no interest in Georgetown or liked III but didn't like his offense. They might even list Georgetown too-but what they said and how they said it--you could tell who they liked/didn't. Julius Randle is a good example.

Well you seem to care a lot about some second place basketball team in the IAC that is also where you went to school, considering a lot of your posts on this board are touting some kid from that school who never had, and will never have, a single high major offer. Yet your deluded view of him continues.

I actually didn't mean to seem like I was attacking you, I was just really curious about how you always seem so well informed. yada yada yada. Yeah, right. If you didn't mean to seem like you were attacking him then perhaps this wasn't the best approach: Dude, seriously... are you an assistant coach or scout or something? I just dont see how you can make so many statements with such certainty. "beyond a complete stretch"? Like how would you know what the kid was thinking better than anyone else?
