www.grantland.com/story/_/id/7881895/how-indiana-pacers-all-star-center-roy-hibbert-avoided-becoming-stiffSo during the offseason between Hibbert's freshman and sophomore years, he met Hill in the weight room every day. First, they worked on speed and agility, using jump ropes, Hula-Hoops, and tennis balls. Then they moved on to strength training, until Hibbert could do one push-up, and then 10 and then 20 and then more. "It took some time," Hill says, "but once he realized, 'Holy ! I really can be good at this stuff,' then it just clicked." Hibbert started peppering Hill with questions — How's my form? What does my body fat look like? What else can I do to target this muscle? — until, Hill says, "It got to the point where it felt like he was challenging me as much or more than I was challenging him."

Granger says, "As long as he's a center, he can be an All-Star every year. It has to be him. There's just nobody else."
I get that he was trying to be nice and say that Hibbert's a good player, but the nobody else comment is kinda harsh.

I realize Roy put most of it on himself, but can we get back that strength and conditioning coach too?

Not that I am complaining... but does it seem like Grantland has a crush on Georgetown to anyone else? and its not just the guy that wrote the China article(s)

For those not on Twitter, Roy and Henry had a convo last night that should make us all swell with pride: twitter.com/#!/Hoya2aPacer/status/197935052099817472

I realize Roy put most of it on himself, but can we get back that strength and conditioning coach too? Believe he is still there. He was there when I left in 2010. Hes a nice guy and good at what he does, but not a guru or anything
