. . . . in spite of the loss and the Nerlens drama?
Watching Pitt at Butler in the CBI. That's funny.

If you win the CBI, do they dub you the 101st best team in the country?

Last year they played in the 2nd/3rd Round at Verizon Center in the ridiculous game where Mack fouled Pitt up by one, Gilbert Brown made one and missed one and then Robinson fouled Howard on the rebound and he made a foul shot to give Butler the win.
This year Pitt fouls with 4 seconds to go in a tie game and Butler misses both. Overtime.

What would Esh do with an invitation to the CBI? He would use the banner as toilet paper.

As long as Suckacuse loses it will make my night. Wisconsin could be a hard tempo match-up for them, could frustrate them and result in some poor shot selection. Let's hope.

Mixed emotions. I would like to see the BE do well but not so much that I want to see Boeheim get a final 8 appearance. Of the 16 teams remaining, I would not care if any of 14 win the NC. I only hope Syracuse and Kentucky are not standing after this weekend. I want the poster child for whiners(Boeheim) to retire with the same number of NCAA championships as JT2 even though he coached 10 years longer, and I want the coach who is the poster child for all the wrong things in college basketball recruiting(Caliperi) to continue his quest for his first NCAA championship for one more year. Maybe the Nets job will be too alluring and college basketball will be rid of him for good after this year.

Remember folks, the Boeheim rule is your friend--you can root against one team from your conference during post-season / out of conference play. Of course, that team should be Syracuse.
Also applicable--you are allowed to root against teams that are bailing on your conference. So, basically, don't feel guilty about rooting for Wisconsin. Do it openly. Maybe go buy a Wisconsin hat or something. On Wisconsin!!!
(And yes, I'm from Minnesota. Some things are more important than regional rivalries)

Calipari will not return to the NBA. Unlike his college career, in the NBA he is hamstrung by a salary cap.
