BTW, are Boeheim and company still unbothered now that they have 2 losses? I'm so sick of the compliments being bestowed on that crooked program for winning whilst controversy swirls. Where is the vitriol for the controversy in the first place? It's beyond ridiculous.

The starting price for BET Finals ticket on StubHub was $92 (1,530 available) at halftime of Cincy-Cuse. Right now, a few mins after the buzzer, it's $70 (1,500 available). Helllllooooooooo buyer's market!

Ah, that couldn't be better, complete with Cronin crapping on teams leaving the conference. haha loved that! for those who weren't watching, basically said "the BET is the greatest show on earth, if you're a recruit i don't know why you wouldn't want to play here...and if you're a school i don't know why you'd want to leave"

Makes me despair over our loss even more, because we had Cinci. All we had to do was hit free throws at our normal rate...

"I don't know why any recruit wouldn't want to play in this league and I don't know why any school would want to leave this league."
Mick Cronin is my new hero.

"I don't know why any recruit wouldn't want to play in this league and I don't know why any school would want to leave this league." Mick Cronin is my new hero. Buzz Williams just stopped slow dancing with himself, looked around, and wondered who turned off the jukebox.

It saddens me that either Louisville or Notre Dame will be in the finals.

Could be the first-ever all Conference USA final if Louisville wins. Part of me doesn't like that, but then again part of me recognizes that this is the new Big East. Maybe an appropriate way to send everybody packing. It is possible we just watched Boeheim's last game in the Big East.

We upstate NY Hoya fans are smiling through our pain tonight. Thank you Mr. Gates and Mr. Cronin. The hours between now and Sunday at 6 will be brighter.

Agree all around. Hated Cincy yesterday. Love them and Mick today.
Though, I think we are headed towards an NCAA tournament similar to last years with regards to the Big East underperforming. All of these Big East teams are flawed. If WVU, Cincy, Marq run into officials with a quick whistle they might be out. If Cuse matches up early with a team that gets hot from the outside and can pull down a few rebounds then they are out.

Maybe an appropriate way to send everybody packing. It is possible we just watched Boeheim's last game in the Big East. In a couple of years, the BE is going to be very C-USA. As much as I will always prefer the "true" BE teams, Louisville and Marquette almost feel like first class citizens now.* Maybe Cincy is joining that group as well. The more those teams blend into the rest of the league, the less drastic the next round of C-USA expansion will seem. So it might truly be a good thing to see a UofL-UC final. (Although I would certainly prefer Georgetown-Providence.) *Our league has a lot more first class citizens than the ACC, which only has two.

Best part of the night - the utter deflation in McDonough's voice as he realized he is going to have to go back to the Garden tomorrow night to call a game without his beloved Orangeboys playing for the title. What is the over/under on how many Syracuse mentions he gets in tomorrow?

I feel very sad for all those cretins from upstate NY who dealt all that cash out for finals tickets they won't be using... nice work, HoyaChris. That will be almost as much fun as all the whining that will go on about how the refs stole this one from them. Actually, it was hard getting rid of the finals tickets. I could have got a lot more if I had been willing to accept racoon pelts, double wide time shares or mystery dates with a sure thing with the initials L.F.

Hoyachris, isn't "double wide time shares" redundant with "a sure thing with...L.F?"
