They played each other last night in the championship game of the John Carroll National Tournament down in Durham, NC. Brandon Rush scored 22pts. to help Mt. Zion to a 82-77 victory over National Christian. However, Jessie Sapp led all scorers with 34 pts! The box score is in the Sunday edition of the Washington Post.
I wonder if Sapp and Rush had a chance to talk about G'Town? Hopefully Sapp did some recruiting of his own, not with his words but with his play! When a player drops 34 against your team you have to take notice.

When a player drops 34 against your team you have to take notice. Dam, Sapp really seems to be a dominator. Mt. Zions generally one of the most talented HS teams around, so to drop 34 is really impressive to me. Cant wait til he gets here, and I really hope his game translates well to the Big East right away.
