Redmen made the Friars look bad last night, particularly Council - 7 turnovers alone. He can play. Stay focused. GO HOYAS!!! Beat the Friars.

Cooley planned to have them up at 6am with an 'intense' practice after last night.
Going to get a team that will be well coached and likely busting their tails for him after performance. Gota bring it. Keep it rolling.

Will be a nice test to see how our guys, especially the youngsters, come out after the huge win tonight. Some letdown would be natural; if these guys can avoid that, it will be a great sign for the rest of the season.

Only have to go back to last year to remember nerve-racking Providence games. Take care of business, boys.

Don't think we'll have a let down considering that Sims, Clark, and Thompson will be hungry after an off game for them.

It's a Big East game--if you have a letdown--then you deserve to lose as we've seen with Hoyas in past and other teams as well.

Have to bank games like this -- come tournament time, they can be killers if you lose. Although I wonder whether all the conference realignment will push programs like Providence, Seton Hall (who were atrocious last night) and DePaul into bottom-feeder hell forever.

CLASSIC TRAP GAME - Ville before and Quette after. BRING IT! Providence has given us fits in the past. No let down.

Winning this game, and winning it handily (which we should be able to do--KenPom has PC ranked around James Madison, Ball St. and East Carolina) is the first step toward erasing the bad taste from the inconsistencies of the past three years. It's not enough to get up for the big games--consistency matters, and so does getting better every single game.

They don't have McDermott...Who I believe lit us up for 40+ last year. His performance was amazing.

That was Brooks who went huge on us last year. Gotta handle our home court.
