More than slimy.
I wonder if the Hoyas' coaches were surprised by his commitment.

The hat was inappropriate just cause the threw the hat so far. I think he was just playing more a joke on his friend who was going to USC then trying to be disrepectful. If that's the worst thing he does in his time as a student at Georgetown I think he'll be okay. Broadus supposedly put mad work in on this one so all props to him.

That's quite a write-up.

"Right after the trash talking began; Peak scored 10 points in the fourth quarter and took Stamps’ soul while scoring on him possession after possession." LJ Peak=The Exorcist?

"In JTIII’s offense, there are many backdoor cuts for lay-ups and dunks in Peak’s future not to mention open jump shots from the wing and corners. The multi-dimensional scorer should thrive in this type of half court offense." Exactly! Just needs to stay active all the time.

Was hoping we took Peak and a big, he fills our need at the two but can slide to the three at 6'5" if needed. Like his aggression with the ball and it looks like he can shoot it well. Buy in on defense and he will be a good one...

When I first read about the 'hat incident' I was bummed but after watching it I'm not bothered by it. He's a high school kid playing a prank on friends and family.

So help me out a little. We have one scholarship position open for 2014 and that assumes that Moses is not back. Given the current make-up of the team, that position has to go to a big--does it not? I see only Hayes, Hopkins, Smith(maybe) and Whittington coming back that year at the 4-5. That assumes that Whittington will play the 4-5. It also assumes that Smith has 1 1/2 years of eligiility left.

I'm conflicted by joy that we won a hat thing and disgust that a hat thing occurred. Burn all the hats!

I believe if a big is not signed and Moses contributes this year they could request an extra year for medical reasons a few years back. The more this class is rounding into shape I believe they will get their big to round out the class. Bowen will be in his 5th year so, I don't know if that spot is a given either. I hate to say this but it probably depends on the development of the underclassmen and their performance this year.

Guess we finally got one that really did shock the world.
And it wasn't a surprise commitment to the coaches. He apparently told them last week.

The kid plays with a nastiness that will be needed with Otto gone and Brilly being a senior when he shows up. I like the direction that the staff is going. Great get by the staff. Welcome to the Hilltop LJ!!!!!!!!!

Just kids having fun. Maybe not the ideal way to announce, but intended to be fun and not a big deal. Welcome LJ! We are DELIGHTED you chose our Hoyas and we know it will work out very well for you. All you need to do is listen to the coaches and put in the work. Guys like Roy, Jeff, Greg and Otto all worked REALLY hard during their time on the hilltop - and since. You will get to meet them and play pick-up with them, so they can share those thoughts directly with you. Best of luck to you LJ! Hoya Saxa!
