DSR impressed me with that, he seems like him and Hall are the only 2 on Oak Hill playing defense....Jordan Adams plays for Jordan Adams...hahahaha nice line...Who wants to play with Jordan Adams? I'd be like ehhh no thanks.

DSR definitely seems to go on/off on D -- he had great pressure that should have forced a steal to start the second half as well but his center didn't grab the ball.

Not much lift inside. He gets blocked a lot. Stil needs to work n finishing around rim but e does have good offensive instincts.

No shot clock in Georgia? I know they say the South is a bit behind the times, but that's ridiculous.
Also: I know this won't be popular, but if this is Tyler Lewis' game, count me as not a fan. He's quick, he's smart, he's not selfish, but it seems like he has to dominate the ball. He must be the offense, he can't play within one. I can count on one hand the number of times he's passed it this half to a player who wasn't in an assist situation. He dribbles around for a long time, drives (successfully) and either shoots or passes.
But that's the type of player where your team is never better than him nor worse than him. If that's how he usually plays.
I just don't see a small, 5'11" player being able to dominant an offense that way at higher levels. Could be wrong. And maybe he was just playing that way tonight because the opposition point couldn't ever stop him.

Tyler Lewis is crazy. Triple teamed yet gets out and draws the foul. Two ice cold free throws.

Georgia does. A lot.
Oak Hill also getting screwed by repeated awful calls. That's two in a row completely clean defensive plays called shooting fouls.

I'd be like ehhh no thanks. And did he pick the worst possible coach for himself or what? Hmmm, I'm a chucker who doesn't play team ball or defense. What coach should I play for? I know, I'll pick someone known for benching guys who don't play team ball and tough defense.

I know what they mean, but it's not like we're doing so bad right now that we could reeeeeaaaaally use a guy like DSR right now.
We're pretty good with out him thank you very much, but he would provide nice depth.

DSR huge from the line. 12-12, 11 of which were just butter through the rim.

Georgia doesn't have a shot clock, and teams continually abuse it. A lot of just chillin occasionally passing the ball around the arc taking a minute or so to score. Some real low scoring games.

Tyler Lewis = Matt causey? Haha. That's a comp to frighten NC State fans. But even I think he's better than that. He's a passer, but he's a ball hog in his own way. That's okay -- so was John Stockton or Steve Nash or Magic Johnson but if you're going to dominate the ball, the team is as good as you are. Agree with you on DSR's hops -- he's going to get stuffed at times around the rim. He creates contact well and that FT stroke is very nice.

Going to be interesting to see where he fits in.
Has his limitations due to size and build. Hoping he becomes a really good shooter from 3. That will go a long way. Like that he showed to be under control and knocking down the FT's is always a nice bonus.

We've seen Jason at the high post a lot this season where he either looks for a cutter, an open shooter or if he's open, he takes that shot.
Rivera would be perfect in that kind of set coming off the bench, or creating off the dribble.
His jumper hasn't been falling from deep lately, but it will come around.

agree that dsr could be more explosive, but other than that, liked what i saw. eventhough his shot wasn't falling, he has nice form on his shot with great rotation. i defintely see him being a threat from deep. loved his demeanor. he plays under control....very similar to AF in that way. he looks very comfortable with the ball, makes good decisions, and manages to manuver very well in traffic. he has good footwork, and good lift on his midrange fallaway jumper. loved seeing him catch the ball at the center of the zone and take it into the lane for a floater. the kid is $$$ for the line. he'll be a very solid baller at georgetown.

I was definitely impressed with how in control he was. Seems to have a good motor as well which is especially good to see when you consider that he plays on a team with Lewis who dominates the ball and Adams who is a chucker. The performance from the line is just awesome too. Just shows that he plays with confidence.

Very impressed with DSR. Thought he played smart in every facet of the game. Plays with his head up and looks to pass. Will be a great fit. Would be nice not to rely on him for scoring right away, but he will be a great addition.
