Grantland speculating that Jeff will be traded this season "Green has a player option for 2015-16, meaning he may be working on a de facto expiring contract. His price will come down as the season moves along, but Boston might be willing to accept a diminished return. He’s a likable guy with more fans across the league than you might expect, and he can split minutes between the two forward positions. We know now that Green isn’t a primary offensive option, but he has become a good spot-up shooter, he runs the floor, and he’s a nice secondary threat. He can attack gaps in the defense, provided a teammate cracks them open first." grantland.com/the-triangle/33-crazy-predictions-for-the-nba-season/

They need the depth while KD is out and they've proven they can play together. Westbrook-Durant-Green-Ibaka adding in either a PG or a C looks pretty good.

Even though Henry was 1-11 last night, he did score 10 pts on 8-8 in FT PLUS he was a big +11, when the team lost by 7.

Otto had his best game yet for the Wizards tonight. He scored 19 pts on 7-13 from the floor, 1-2 from three, 4-4 from the line. As well, he had 8 rebounds(5 ORebs), 4 steals and 4 assists in 32.5 mins. Hope he is settling in to the style and pace of play.

www.masslive.com/celtics/index.ssf/2014/10/boston_celtics_trade_rumors_20_139.htmlBoston Celtics trade rumors 2014: Jeff Green would be 'easy to moveOver the second half of last season, Green's defense wilted and his shooting percentages tumbled. But according to Lowe, the small forward would still be "easy to move" if the Celtics want. Lowe mentioned a slew of teams -- New Orleans, Washington, Toronto, Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, New York and Denver -- as possible trade locations and indicated Green has "more fans across the league than you might expect."

Jeff with 18 (7-15) with 2 rebs and 3 assists in 31 minutes in a 111-91 win over the Sixers (Henry with 8 and 10 rebs; Hollis with 5 and 4 rebs).
In reading articles about Green in the Boston press, you have to take into consideration that virtually none of the writers like him primarily because they think he is overpaid. As a whole, they would be delighted to see him moved out of town to validate their incessant bleating. I'm not sure those who will make the decision share their point of view.

Please not New York. Please please please please. Selfishly, I'd love to see him in NY so I could actually watch a whole Knick game without having it just be the Melo show. Unselfishly, Jackson or not, the Knicks aren't good and I'd prefer Jeff go to a better team.
