Thunder beat Pistons 109-98. Jeff Green with 19 points; Dajuan Summers had 5 points in 7:41. Three of Jeff's buckets are in the video highlights: www.nba.com/games/20091218/DETOKC/gameinfo.htmlFrom the play by play: In his 7:41, DaJuan fouled Kevin Durant three times, Durant fouled him once, and DaJuan had one steal: Green Turnover : Lost Ball (1 TO) Steal:Summers (1 ST)

Went to the Pacers-Celtics game in Boston tonight. Both teams were missing a starter (Granger for Indiana and Garnett for Boston). Indiana was up 15 in the first half as the Celtics looked disinterested on defense and the Pacers hit multiple unguarded threes. The second half was a different story as the Celtics started playing defense and Paul Pierce and Ray Allen took the game over.
Roy had a workmanlike 33 minutes with 6 points on 2-9 shooting with 6 blocks. Kendrick Perkins had 17 but Roy made him work hard for them. Unfortunately, Roy's on a team that really stinks. I counted at least 8 well-executed pick and rolls where Hibbert set a nice high pick and rolled to the basket with good position .... only to be ignored by the guard or have a crappy pass thrown to him. His main job in O'Brien's offense appears to be setting picks and the offense is not designed to get him in position to score down low. He also looks to be in great shape with better stamina than before. I thought it was a good showing as he had little help and had to contend with either Perkins or Rasheed Wallace every time down the floor.

I agree that the Pacers are not making much use of Roy. In many of their plays, they were not even trying to involve him. He had some open looks, but they did not go to him.

I was particularly fond of the time he stuffed Perkins, clearly setting Perk off and ultimately leading to a technical foul on Perk. Most of Roy's 5 fouls were due to Indiana's perimeter players matadoring on penetration leaving Roy to step in and cover.

I repeat, Jim O'Brien is an idiot. That team will do nothing as long as he is there.

Anyone know why Summers was nowhere to be found in the ESPN box score (minutes or not) the pistons last game??

Roy having an incredible 1st half versus Dwight Howard, 18pts 4 rebs...granted he got Howard in foul trouble and sat most of the 1st half, but the best hi light was Roy hitting a contested turnaround 20fter with the shot clock on 1

Oklahoma City, let's talk for a second. Now we don't know each other well, but I know you can't love Nenad Krstic that much, right? If you somehow acquire the mis-used but still quickly improving Roy Hibbert, thus re-uniting him with Jeff Green, well let's just say there will be a large red dot on your ratings map somwhere on the east coast.
So come on OKC, do it for the Hoyas.
Oh yeah and you're two years from contending for a title in that case too.

I think you know who won the championship.

Great to see Roy becoming a go-to option on the Pacers. I still don't trust JOB to use him effectively, especially with his penchant for playing some of the frontcourt stiffs on that team (cough, Troy Murphy, cough).
Roy just needs to keep demanding the ball and finishing with a high percentage...even if Indy never fully appreciates him during his rookie contract, if Roy keeps playing this way he will get PAID in a couple years. Couldn't happen to a better guy.
