Unfortunately, tonight Hibbs is having one of those foul-plagued games that he had so often last year. I see he has five fouls in 14 minutes against the Cavs.

But Jeff put up 19 and 14 as the Thunder beat the Wiz handily at home.
Amazing how unless Jeff is the leading scorer, he gets almost no mention in AP recaps, behind Durant, Westbrook, and now Harden.

And I doubt Jeff cares one bit about that, as long as the team wins. The good news for Jeff is that people inside the NBA recognize how great he is, so he'll probably get some very nice offers when his contract is up.

Re Jeff, that's really not true.
He's getting love all over the place...everyone in the league knows how good he is, and it's accepted that him, Durant and Westbrook are carrying that team

DaJuan got some significant minutes in the 4th quarter and overtime of Pistons loss at Utah. He played the last half of the 2nd quarter, the first half of the 4th, and then Kuester put him in for last 2 minutes of overtime after Villanueva fouled out. For the game, Summers played 14 minutes and scored 5 points on 2-2 shooting, a three and a layup, and had an assist, a block, and a foul. He must be playing good defense to earn those late game minutes.

DaJuan is officially in the Pistons' rotation. 3rd guy off the bench in 1st quarter, 12 minutes in 1st half at Phoenix. 6 points at half on 2/2 on 3fg, 0/3 on 2fg.

With garbage time points, DaJuan hit double figures for the first time in loss to Suns. 13 points in 22 minutes. 3/3 from 3, 2/8 from 2.

He led the team in scoring, tied with Villanueva.

How long is it before we see the first Dajuan story discussing how "improved" players become when they escape "the system"?

How long is it before we see the first Dajuan story discussing how "improved" players become when they escape " the system"? I feel like that one has already been written.

How long is it before we see the first Dajuan story discussing how "improved" players become when they escape " the system"? The exact opposite happens for UCLA players. People talk about how Howland restricts players on offense while at UCLA. But the talk is that players are ready for the NBA after being coached by Howland. I would hope that if Dajuan plays well the message will be that JTIII prepares his players well for the league, and not the message you mentioned

Nice to see DS get some minutes. Interesting that he hasn't grabbed a single board in 37 minutes of action over his last two games.
Just got back from the Laker - Thunder game. Jeff had a tough one. After hitting his first 3 point shot attempt, he missed his next 5 fg attempts. The entire team was off, Durant struggled, Harden went 2 for 15, etc.. Green was matched up against Gasol, Odom, and Artest....all tough match ups and he seemed frustrated by it.

I watched some of the Pistons game. DaJuan was playing almost exclusively on the perimeter. In fact, he was subbing in for Ben Gordon. He was not in offensive rebounding position and yet not getting back on defense quickly either. On the other end the Suns scored on almost every possession. He was at least making his man shoot jumpers while some of his teammates were giving up layups. Twice when DaJuan penetrated his shots were blocked. One made two was a running hookshot. The other was a long toe-on-the line jumper from the wing. Two of his threes were catch and shoots from the corner. His minutes will drop when Rip Hamilton and/or Tayshaun Prince come back from injuries but he is showing something during his chance.

I hope all the best for Dajuan, but it appears that he is showing here what he showed for the Hoyas - a desire and ability to play on the perimeter, and perform well in streaks (and not so well in others). Most felt he had the physical ability to be effective inside on occasion to coincide with his outside touch - and I hope he develops the "want to" for that - because his real NBA success will depend on that. That and he needs to rebound, at least some.

Roy came off the bench tonight with Jeff Foster starting. Roy has struggled last couple games, but all bias aside, I think it's a bad move overall for the Pacers

Anybody follow the Pacers and have some thoughts on what is going on with Roy? Minutes have really declined, and not due to foul trouble. He should be getting more time with Granger out, but he only had 18 in the last game.

I think Roy was getting more minutes because Troy Murphy was out injured.

Jim O'Brien is an idiot. That's Roy's biggest problem.
