A nice landing for Greg, he can still contribute. I like this, but I'm a little surprised that the Sixers are giving up on Justin Patton already. Guy was drafted 16, is 21 years old and is cut. These kids really need to think about not just getting to the league, but staying. A few more years to work on other skill sets could have helped a kid like this. This would be part of my recruiting pitch to all the kids who keep being told they are a lottery pick & one and done.

Derrickson 4-4 from 3 for 13 points in 8 minutes of playing tonight for the Warriors. Talk about making the most of an opportunity! Nice.

Are Monroe (76er's) & Derrickson (Warriors) the only Hoyas in the Playoffs this year?

Derrickson put up 13 points on 4/5 shooting in just 8 minutes during the Warriors' regular season finale in Memphis. Below are his per-36 numbers for his playing time on GSW: Not too shabby - I especially like his 50% three point shooting (on a 10/20 sample size). I can definitely see another team taking a chance on him and signing him to a proper 1-year deal next season.

Sleepy still holds the NBA Record! Kevin Durant scored 50 to clinch the series v Clippers. And he had 38 points in the first half.... ties him for second, behind our own Sleepy Floyd. See below: Durant's performance put him in rarefied air within NBA playoff history. With his 38 first-half points, Durant tied Phoenix Suns forward Charles Barkley for second-most points in a half. Barkley scored 38 in the first half of a 1994 playoff game. The pair trails only former Warriors guard Sleepy Floyd, who scored 39 points in the second half of a 1987 playoff game against the Suns.www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/26615266/ultimate-weapon-durant-scores-50-clincher
