Do not agree at all. The Hawks, like Toronto play a floor spreading type of game. Even their center, Horford , is not a pure, low post player. If Otto plays well, he will get lots of PT. In fact, I expect him to be the main guy covering Korver. HE has much more length then Beall, plus Beal stays fresher for offense, by not running around so much on defense. I actually think Brooklyn is a tougher matchup for Otto. He would be covering Joe Johnson or Bogdanovich, who are a lot stronger, physically than Otto. Anyway, I'm just thrilled he is considered a factor in the playoffs..especially considering he ewas not even playing a month ago.

On Porter's G-fense v. DeRozan: "the 2014 all-star hit only 6 of 25 shots with Porter as the closest defender (24 percent, 26 percent effective field goal percentage) as opposed to 26 of 55 (47.3 percent, 49.1 percent effective field goal percentage) against all other Wizards. Additionally, DeRozan shot only 17 free throws in the series (4.25 per game) after averaging 7.2 attempts per game from the stripe this season. "

Otto with a quick 5 points off the bench and pierce w 2 fouls so could see significant run in the first half
Looks a million times more confident. The game has really slowed down for him in my opinion.

As good as Otto looks, Jeff has not looked good this post season. He's much better when he plays with Conley, but his shot has been off regardless.

Otto has led the Wizards in at least three of their five wins in the playoffs in the +/- category. Tonight all the starters except Beal with 0 or negative territory.

He is averaging 10 pts and 8 rebounds per game in the postseason. Second on team in rebounding.

Otto Porter rising star. Double, double [10 pts., 11 rebounds]. Don't know what was more exciting, watching Wizards win or watching Otto come of age!

Yeah, watching Otto right now is thrilling, whereas watching Jeff is discouraging. His body language is not good, he just doesn't have a great energy level when he's out there at the moment. Conley being out clearly hurts but Jeff still needs to pick it up in every facet of his game. He's a veteran and a scorer and right now he's playing like neither.

For those of you who are also Knicks fans, you'll enjoy this story about how Curry and his agent wanted him to be a Knick. And you'll also see that the New York Post writers have some memory problems when it comes to college basketball. nypost.com/2015/05/05/how-stephen-currys-agent-feverishly-tried-to-push-star-to-knicks/Curry and his father Dell went along with the failed plan to dissuade the Warriors from drafting him, which included passing on an invitation for a pre-draft workout. Similar actions kept the Grizzlies, who had the No. 2 pick, from selecting Curry and instead going with Connecticut center Hasheem Thabeet.
