Has anyone been watching Otto [my favorite palindrome]. No. No one on this thread has been watching.

Has anyone been watching Otto [my favorite palindrome]. He started his second straight game for the Wizards, scoring in double figures. Had 17 points on 7 for 9 shooting vs. Knicks, last night, with an alley/oop highlight reel shot, on a pass from John Wall. Wittman is finally letting him play, Go Otto. I tell you what, Otto is starting to look like a difference maker little by little.

Will be quite interesting to see what happens with the Wizards in the off season - coaching, personnel, etc. - and whether that leaves Otto in or out. With some of his recent play I can't see him languishing on their bench for another season.

Maybe those saying Hollis is only playing in the NBA due to the sixers tanking plan, are wrong. I recall several years ago Pops saying that you can make it in the NBA if you're only good at one thing, but you do it extremely well. He further stated that is much better than just being pretty good at everything. Hollis is 6 ft 8 and can shoot the NBA 3. I'm guessing he can stick in the league for several years, if only as an off the bench shooter.

Seriously though I thought it was already accepted, among Hoya fans at least, that Hollis is a legit NBA player. I guess I was wrong. As Lynam wrote in her tweet he started off slow this season otherwise his fg% would really be through the roof.

But according to the other thread Hollis isn't an elite shooter.

Some poster had written last week that Hollis was only in the league due to the incredible tanking efforts of the 76ers. As stated,I think he can stick in the league (as a role player)..time will tell.

Weirdly, Otto Porter's best offense came when Randy Wittman was not on the bench.

Hibbs with 11 and 11 - of course it was only the Knicks.
Jeff with 15 in Grizzlies win. Greg with 19 and 10 in Pistons loss.
Otto played 24 minutes, only took 2 shots for 3 points.
