I've seen some commentators killing the Pacers/Roy for having him take a 3 down 2 at the end of overtime (the shot looked pretty good but obviously missed). The criticism is understandable given the aforementioned poor shooting night, but surprised I have not seen anyone remember what he did to UCon in a very similar situation. Not to mention it was the same gym.

Although a slightly tougher three point line!

Plus he was 0-7, not exactly the hot hand you want trying a 3 at that point. In fairness, I don't think that was the plan; the guard drove the lane hoping to get up a shot or get fouled, but he was cut off and had to pass it out at the last second. Roy had cleared way out to open up the lane, and was the open man at that point.

Watching this dog of a game between the Celts and Pacers.
Roy & Jeff leading scorers for each team with 12 & 13 respectively.

Don't know what's more amazing. That Roy took 16 shots or that Hollis took 14.

Don't know what's more amazing. That Roy took 16 shots or that Hollis took 14. The latter. I hope they both continue to look for their shots. Roy because his team has been decimated and Hollis to solidify his role and demonstrate his value to other teams.

None of the Wizards starters reached double figures, 3 guys did off the bench. Odd stat.

Interesting professor. Henry's experience and years of work is clearly in evidence against the #6 pick (despite the injury) in the draft. Two things. Nerlens could have benefited a lot from a couple of years at GU. GU could have benefited a lot if Henry had taken his first three years seriously! Dang. Well, at least he woke up for his senior year and has continued to work and show us all how good he can actually be.

GU would have benefited much more if Henry had played the 5 his entire career, dude was not suited to play the 4..

Did Roy not start tonight? Roy has a "bruised knee", not likely to return tonight. The Pacers can't catch a break
