Kiss off Virginia Tech and Indiana. Both didn't just lose today, but lost big. I guess Minnesota's stock went up due to its easy win over Indiana.

these past couple of days have had maybe the most bubble bursts ive ever experienced. So many that some of the formerly bursted bubbles are back alive.

Heck, we can still be in this. Our percentage is growing better and better to getting into the tourney with all these bubble teams getting killed or losing. If Stanford loses tonight, and UCONN takes the Big East Tourney, our percentage grows, so let's root for UCONN!

Bear in mind, the committe will be looking at a team that lost 6 of it's last 7 games, including home to PC and away to an SJU team with a dreadful W/L record.

i'm with you sirsaxa. a realist i guess. i love holding out hope though. this team has impressed me so much this year and they should be applauded for their effort last night. if you had told me before the season that we would make the NIT with 17 wins, I would have been beyond happy. especially after last years debocle.
lets pray for more teams to go down.

We were 4-6 in our last 10 games. Notre Dame was 3-7 in their last 10 games and everyone still has ND in, so the last 10 games cant be that big of a factor when a 3-7 team to finish off the year gets in after losing to UCLA and PITT at home and Rutgers.

Everyone has ND in because Digger's been whoring them all over the country. ND has a no more compelling tourney resume than I do.

lets pray for more teams to go down. Lets not. Face it...Gtown isn't getting in, Period. Now all that is left is to ensure the Terps don't slide in either. Reward the mid majors. Send three teams from the Atlantic 10 if you have to. But no Maryland.

Lunardi doesn't even have us on "Last Four Out" or "Next Four Out"... it sounds like we arent even being considered a bubble team anymore.
He does however have Northern Iowa and Ohio on his bubble.
I'm sure they have quality wins like @ Pitt and @ Villanova on their resume.

I wonder if there are folks on the Committee who are starting to think the "who's getting in" experts on TV are becoming too pleased with themselves. It probably won't happen for our benefit this year, but at some point I could see the Committee dropping a few bombs into the field just to make sure guys like Joe Lunardi stay humble. It's like standardized testing -- scores get too high, change the test.

GW did itself proud winning the Atlantic 10. Congrats to our crosstown competitor. They deserve the NCAA.
