Hollis has a chance to be really, really good this year...like first team big east good. While it wasn't high-major competition last Monday, he showed a multi-faceted game -- 3ptrs, mid-range, fadeaways, drives and finishes, inside moves...kid is special and he needs to stay greedy this season.

Yeah, but in the final 5 seconds of a game, I want the ball in Aaron Bowen's hands. THAT's when he shines—banking 3's, crazy dunks...love it. Also, "a roster brimming with youthful 6-8 athletes" is awesome to read.

I am impressed with Hollis so far this year, but I believe he can do even more. I'd like to see him average 12+ shots per game.

Hollis is now at 57% FG, 57% 3FG and 89 FT% for a total of 203. What's that total stat that Austin was good at? He's blowing it away!
Oh, btw, he leads the team in rebounds.

Are you referrring to Rick Majerus' "180 player" criteria? I seem to recall him (when he was behind the broadcast table, before returning to coaching) mentioning this regarding Jonathan Wallace.

isn't the Hoyas 3-pt shot/game record 7 ? Hollis had 6 in 19 mins , sitting out the last 13 mins of the game

Seemed like he really didn't want to come out, either. Animated and extended conversation with JT3 before he finally got off the court.

Hollis Thompson looks like a modern-day Allan Houston in terms of his style of game and demeanor.

he was good, but even MJ didn't get a $100 mill on the court.
