Villanova is down double digits to St. Louis in the second half in the 76 Classic on ESPN2
Uconn is down 1 to UCF in the semifinals of the brand new Battle for Atlantis tournament with 3 minutes to go. Game is on Versus.
Depaul up 5 early in the second on ESPNU over Texas tech in the consolation bracket of the Old Spice Tournament.

yeah Uconn does not look impressive early on.
Nova just called for a flagrant 1 foul down 10 to St. Louis.

yeah Uconn does not look impressive early on. I'm not sure why they are expected to be. They are the same team as last year minus Kemba Walker. Even with Walker they finished 9th in the Big East and lost 4 of their last 5 regular season games. They just happened to be a great tournament team. They'll probably get better as Drummond develops but they have a long way to go.

UConn looking just terrible. Yeah, but at least they are way longer and more athletic and more impressive than the guys on Georgetown. Or at least that is what some say. ;D

But in defense to UConn they probably should have been a season away anyway but, as you mentioned, the Huskies got hot during the post season. The good news for UConn is that Napier has really raised his level and that Lamb is better and more confident. It is up to the rest of the team to improve their play and help those two out.

Nova loses by 12. Uconn loss is more surprising because this was in a tournament. Depaul defeats texas tech by 6 .

Cuse vs. Stanford for the NIT championship on now. Keita with 3 fouls in 3 minutes of playing time.
Fab Melo is still not good bites on every shot fake.

Harvard and FSU were tied at 14 after 20 minutes of play. I'd really like to see FSU v Uconn tomorrow so I guess I'm all in for Harvard right now.

Stanford vs Syracuse is such awful basketball I had to turn the channel. Redefining sloppy basketball. Also, curious whether Fab Melo paid for the, umm, oral pleasure he is receiving from the announcers, or whether it was a freebie this time.

Oh Abromitis tore his ACL in practice today. ND is going to suck even worse with out him.
Crappy way to end his career. This was his 6th year. Not going to be allowed a 7th already red shirted twice.

Nova loses by 12. Uconn loss is more surprising because this was in a tournament. Depaul defeats texas tech by 6 . I watched the Nova game and they look terrible to say the least. Also Ty Johnson gets very little run with them so far and all the kids playing ahead of him are Jr's or below.. Not to mention Wright has Ryan Arcidiacono coming in next year, it's very early bit it looks to me like Ty made a bad choice for himself.

If Cuse loses to Stanford, will there be any BE team with as solid a start to the season as the Hoyas?
