Very athletic 6-6, soph guard. Offers from UTenn, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, UMemphis, and Alabama. Simular to former Nashville star, Ron Mercer. Georgetown would be smart to get on his list.

Ron Mercer was so smooth at UK, almost too good. Always wondered why it didn't transfer to the league.

Mercer could not beat his man off the dribble with consistency. Also, he was really just an average NBA athlete. He was a very good dude.

I wish that Georgetown will get on this young man right now. This young man reminds Nashvillians of Ron Mercer. Lindsey will become an immediate wherever he choose.... I hope it's at Georgetown!

Well get in touch with someone who can do something about it! As much as the posters on this board WISH they could run the team we really don't have much say!

Lindsey was not the best player on his team. He was comfortable with his role. He is well coached by a former Vandy star and eager to improve. Lindsey is being compared to Ron Mercer and other outstanding athletes in Nashville. I anticipate him being one of the best in the class of '14

Hey Nash .. my childhood friend (practically like my little brother) is the Vice Principle at Maplewood H.S in Tenn. and we chatted about this kid in length a couple weeks ago. I doubt the Hoyas will ever be a serious contender for Lindsey imo .. he's focused on the big boys. In order for the Hoyas to make a splash with these top kids , we need to make a run like we did in 2006. That's just my opinion and thought. It's nice to be listed with these prospects and making the final lists ect .. but winning brings them in for sure. I really hope JTIII/Staff focus on players that wanna be here and leave the prospects with the circus acts alone.

for the record I'm not saying Lindsey is one of those prospects with the AAU pimps/Agents ect .. From what I'm told is he's a very smart kid and has a bright future.

krukster201.... you are probably right. I was thinking with my heart and not with my head lol. I have been wanting a local kid to attend Georgetown for a long time. Willie Taylor was a Hoya for a minute. Unfortunately Georgetown is not the trendy name as it once was.... and yes he is a very smart young man.

Jalen Lindsey's CPA's 37 game win streak was ended in the Beach Ball Classic by St. Rita, Ill. Lindsey was held to 16 points after scoring 44 in a previous game. Talking with a relative, I was told that he is unsure of college choice..... He would be a good addition to the Hoyas!
