Does anyone have any idea how they would determine draft order if the season is lost? Would they simply go on prior year record and throw the balls into a lottery again?
That could be very interesting. I could see this pushing out a number of vets as teams would likely have two #1's plus 2 #2's (who rarely make it anyways) trying to find roster space. There aren't many teams who need to fill four spots after a one year hiatus and some of those vets who would have retired at the end of this year may hang on for another year.
I love to see the Miami trio missing out on yet another year of potential. Put me in the hater category.

I think I answered my own question:
"Likeliest NBA draft order formula if no season: 3 seasons aggregated for order, then lottery for worst 14. Slightly weighted in other ways."
Wiz, Wolves, & Clips would all benefit. Cavs would probably get screwed by Lebron again as his last two seasons there would bring up their average too much.

F the Heat--and Wade has made them even more unlikeable in the offseason with his commentary. Lebron posing/dunking on a 12 year old at a Camp was so "Lebron" and Bosh was last seen collapsing on the floor after his 3 year old nephew beat him in a video game.
As for the Draft order--no idea and think the players will cave sooner rather then later-the paychecks were due this week/today actually, so once these monetary wizards start realizing that the payments to their mistresses, skanks across the country, weed dealers, etc...start adding up/cutting into their bank accounts, they'll need to get back to work--even being overweight--Carmelo looked about 15-20 lbs overweight walking into meeting yesterday and Elton Brand looked like Precious.

The NHL did a weighted 30 team lottery for the 2005 draft, after the lockout. From Wikipedia: "Teams were assigned 1 to 3 balls based on their playoff appearances and first overall draft picks from the past three years. According to the draft order, the selection worked its way up to 30 as usual; then instead of repeating the order as in past years, the draft "snaked" back down to the team with the first pick. Therefore the team with the first pick overall would not pick again until the 60th pick. The team with the 30th pick would also get the 31st pick. The draft was only seven rounds in length, compared to nine rounds in years past. The labor dispute caused the shortened draft."
Not sure if the NBA will follow this example or not.
