Huge win for the Hoyas. Next week is Senior Day against Fordham, but it doesn't count towards the Patriot League standings, so the game at Leigh in two weeks will decide the Patriot League.
Congrats to Coach Kelly & the Hoyas--can't believe they're going to playing for the Patriot League title

If we win the Patriot League, do we play in the FCS Playoffs? What about if we finish 2nd? I have no idea how they select that, but it would be awesome to make the FCS playoffs! Quite a year for the football team. Have we ever made the FCS Playoffs before?

If we win off course we get the patriot league automatic bid. If we come in second no probably not our SOS sucks.

No, Georgetown has never made the playoffs. They made two postseason "bowl" games in the late 1990s for winning the MAAC, and played and lost against other league champions.
Now, on to the playoff questions.
First, some basics: Teams are chosen for the I-AA (I consider the term FCS evil) championship just like the NCAA. 20 teams qualify.
Of note is that the Ivy and SWAC don't participate (the Ivy doesn't do playoffs at all, whereas the SWAC has its own championship that occurs the first week of the season - while SWAC teams can participate, they usually don't).
So, short answer - even if they lose a classic to #7 Lehigh, they're still probably on the outside looking in.

It's unfortunately coinciding with the basketball home opener or I would totally drive up for the game
