From ESPN's Reggie Rankin:
Damyean Dotson, 2012 Wing
this wing played with great energy and urgency every second he was on the floor. Dotson can not only play all three perimeter positions, he can easily defend them as well. Dotson can handle and pass on the move, get to the rim and finish above it on the break and hit a number of 3s in a row -- though he can be a bit streaky. He is the glue guy on his team and his upside is scary. Dotson has a good hoop body already and great frame to add strength to. If he can perform at this level on a consistent basis, watch out. Dotson said he has offers from Oregon, Colorado, Texas Tech, Georgetown, TCU, Dayton and Arkansas.
Brandon Etienne, 2014 PG
The smooth, true point guard has good command of the ball. He advances passes on the break and does a good job delivering the ball in drive-draw-and-kick situations. He has a sweet midrange pull up, is patient and makes pretty good decisions with the rock. Etienne must extend his range to the arc and add strength, but he is a lead guard to keep a close eye on. He is receiving interest from Butler, Marquette, Georgetown, Texas Tech, Baylor and Nebraska.
Joseph Anderson, 2015 PG
The young lead guard has excellent court vision and feel for the game. He is smooth and understands how to get teammates involved with penetration and drive-draw-and-kick or drop-off passes. Anderson has a nice handle and sweet little floater in the lane. He works hard defending the ball on defense as well. He must add strength and work on his jumper, but Anderson has all the tools to be a very special guard. Baylor, Georgetown, Houston, Texas Tech and Louisville are showing strong early interest.
Good to see Hoyas deep in the heart of Texas. Maybe U of H is thinking BE Hoops too. Anyway, Dotson sounds like a sleeper and he's 2012.
