Seth Davis on the college bball page states that the RPI is not the critical factor; rather, the committee looks closely at your record against Top 50 RPI teams, and any losses below 150. We are 3-6 above, with the loss to St. John's below. A win against UConn would start to solidify our resume (a win in the next round might cement it).
