I have to say it is beautiful to see them overlook a team that beat them twice and now has beaten them thrice. WVU looked solid and is definitely dancing.

I have to agree with you . . . I work in Baltimore and am surrounded by Twerps fans. Now that they have nothing to talk about, it's very nice to see them all sitting quietly at their desks doing work for once.
As for WVU, talk about coming on strong at the right time. Perhaps we can shake up the BET with an upset of our own tonight!

I think this causes for a celebration. Pop the champagne!! Lets toast to the Twerps demise!!! Its so beautiful isn't it? I wish I could see Gary Williams face right now. Ha!! Ha!! I thought Maryland was suppose to be good this year. Ha!! Ha!!! Well, as a consolation prize, they did beat Duke twice this year. Ha!!! Ha!!! Oh, what a way to start the afternoon. Long live the stinkin' turtles.

Now, if only we could shock UConn... I mean the post would still run a full page, front page ad for why the Terps should dance, but at least we'd get mentioned on page 12...

I can't wait to see Gary Williams try to explain this loss on Comcast tonight! I'm sure he'll chalk it up to his players' lack of focus and not following his instructions; he's always displacing the blame.

Yeah maybe he could show up in the same sweaty suit he coached the game in today. Then he would freeze up and be even more of a stiff than he usually is.

YES! Gary Williams seems to deny everything and ALWAYS blame others. He seems to be a sore loser - always citing other conferences' weaknesses to pump his team up... it gets under my skin the such denial he's in...hey, that rhymes.

Gary Williams response: clemson.scout.com/2/358913.htmlEven though the Clemson players used the planned pep rally as motivation, Maryland coach Gary Williams scoffed at the idea that it played a factor in the outcome.
“This isn’t a high school,” he said. “So what? That’s the Terrapin Club or something. I didn’t even know there was a pep rally tonight. … The senior prom is in May.”

Before we go any further, yes, I do have tickets to the ACC Tourney, and today's games were great and there's nothing you can say to change it. I'd go to the BET this year, but it simply wasn't a feasible option given the state of things at the moment. in any case, I rooted my tail off for Clemson today in the middle of the Maryland section (total coindence, but I'm loving it) Those Maryland fans are class-less tools. They did the normal Newspaper and "sucks!" routine during the intro's. (Newspapers I adore, sucks is unoriginal and pathetic) I thought it was only right to remind them during the Maryland introductions that Caner-Medley's a scrub, Gilchrist's a primadonna, and Mike Jones is a bust. Most appalling? They were already saying Clemson sucked BEFORE tipoff. Didn't wait a second. No "Let's go Terps" or any of their pro-team cheers, it's all hating on teh other team and being as big of a-holes as possible. It was sad. Fortunately, they were soon shut up by the Tigers and stomped. Maryland fans also tried to criticise our beloved Hoyas. This made for some akward conversations. You try to be polite with these people, but they just don't get it. "Have fun in the NIT!" ...what? with you all? "Nice collapse!"....nice 3 losses to Clemson. Cripes, you all weren't even CLOSE! And we beat Clemson by 15 friggin' points! "....." .....NICE. "So who are you here for? Duke? Nice jacket loser!"....Whaaat? At least Duke doesn't lose to Clemson. (Evidently wearing a suit coat makes you a Duke fan?) They go on and on making even bigger a$$es of themselves. I guess they're just bitter. And dumb. Definitely dumb. Finally, and this was most fun. Tony Bethel got introduced. Hoooooly crap. Summit about it set me off and I went on a 30 second tirade at the top of my lungs about him being a traitor, still a crap shooter, weak and sickly, G'town being better without him, and an overal no talent waste for NC St. I ended with a "Let's Go Hoyas" cheer and a few peope applauded. I was happy, and soon left, cos the NC St. game blew and the bitter terps fans were getting on my nerves. All in all, it was a good day, even though I missed the Hoya game.

I wish I was there to back you up against the Twerp fans, but it looks like you handled them pretty good.
