Congrats to the team. With this win we could conceivably get to 6-5 and over 500. That would be a great step forward.

Went to the game. Despite the score, there was a good amount of offense and the ball was moved between the 30's. This offense is the right fit for our personnel and the two late quarter TD's by the Hoyas were clutch. Lots of fun to see a game under the lights!!!

Not sure if this should be a new thread but...how do we match up with Yale? Last year, I know it came down to the last play. Hopefully, this year we've improved and can pull it off. Beating Yale at the Yale Bowl would be gigantic as far as I'm concerned.

We should win @ Bucknell, Marist, and Wagner we just need to win one of the games against the group of Yale, Colgate, Holy Cross, Leigh, Fordham, and Howard.

I believe the 7 road game schedule this year has much to do with our dropping of Richmond and ODU and the need to fill those dates with games. It's quite a bit easier to convince a school to add us to the schedule if we are doing the traveling.
Great start for our boys and our staff. Let's keep it going!

Bring on Yale!

For those at the game - curious to know if the MSF was full and if it stayed full through the full duration of the game? How much of the crowd were students?

Lafayette followers seem to be taking this one pretty heavily... Apocalyptic prose used to describe Lafayette’s loss to Georgetown FootballLehigh Valley Live, a website which which includes Lafayette sports in its coverage, has subsequently run possibly the most dramatic article we’ve ever seen in reference to Georgetown football, headlined “Lafayette College Staring into abyss of disaster after heartbreaking loss to Georgetown University.”
...
The Leopards, in short, teeter on a precipice of disaster,” Wilson miserably continues. He also complains that his team looked so “limp, so lame, so soporific,” after a 42-6 season opening loss to North Dakota State.
Wilson goes on to blame the Leopard’s “lunatic schedule” and unsatisfactory coaching for the embarrassing, devastating loss.
