The GUHoyas.com video feed appears to be behind the paywall, which it's not supposed to be. I'll send a note to see of they can fix this.

Georgetown put up 40 points today!? Wow. I feel like we've struggled to put up 40 points in a season in the past.
Sounds like at least a good start. Any eyewitnesses? Decent crowd?

game described as a"manhandling" by radio commentators. just caught the tail head of the game on the radio. good outcome to see but it also should be expected.
Laf is getting pounded right now, next week will be interesting!

Lafayette is playing a very good ND State team, a team Georgetown turned down an offer to play last year.
By contrast, Davidson is probably ranked in the bottom three or four in all I-AA, so I wouldn't read too much into week one.

WRT Laf , I meant more along the lines of: how will Laf respond from the game+travel and any injuries sustained. the Davidson v NDST is definitely apples v oranges.
Did Laf receive any financial assistance for its travels from NDst?

Good to see the Hoyas start off the season this way. It looks as if they scored on long drives and short drives. Keep it up.
