Casting a wide net--literally with some of the kids frames--but love it. Can't say I was impressed by him this past Spring--but he's legit big man and has ability.

I saw that too. Don't think James leaves the south, but good to be on as many lists as possible

Does the cheese come with the whine? "I want an offer", "they don't pass me the ball so I'll stay home", etc... Jeez! Sounds like a future transfer.

Agree with prhoya. We don't need cry babies (especially out of shape ones). Let the kid go to Florida State and cry about not getting his UNC offer. We're on plenty of better big men in the class of '12 and '13. Pass!

"Joel’s large stature helped lead him to countless scholarship offers. He currently has a top seven of UCLA, Florida, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina, Georgetown and West Virginia. He claims that UCLA, Florida, North Carolina and Florida State round out his top four, but he still will look at all seven of the schools on his list. When asked, about what he will look for in his future home, Joel spoke the truth." www.slamonline.com/online/college-hs/high-school/2011/08/saved-by-the-ball/

He is quoted saying he wants a great education at a school that produces quality pros. Of the 7 schools listed, only UCLA, UNC, and Georgetown fit those two basic criteria.

Again, don't think he leaves the south, but great to be on another high major list.
