Great to hear.
long shot pulling him out of Big 12 land, but the staff is targeting NBA caliber talent again and I love it. Throw your hat in with enough and you're going to land some.

This is outstanding news--get him to MM--I'd take House and Devonta Pollard/their potential over anyone Georgetown is recruiting in '12 class (unless Nerlens Noel reclassifies as I've thought/think he'll do) House is an NBA Lottery Pick waiting to happen and chance to be one of the best players in this class when it's all said and done. Most competitive player I've seen in this class in person--and that includes "Media lovin'" Mitch McGary who gets bumped for his effort. House is type who raises his level when games get tougher.
Amazing Hoyas went from not involved to making cut--they need to push for this kid hard. Great recognition by staff of a kid who is an elite prospect.
*yes I'm a huge fan of Kyle Anderson. No this doesn't reflect my feelings of his recruitment--he's a wonderful player/perfect fit--maybe the best fit of any recruit Since Monroe for Hoyas program--(Nerlens is there too--underrated offensive player and his offensive strengths are ideal for Georgetown too). No info from visit. Yes, I believe Kyle has an idea of where he's going.

Good student and smart kid. Not worried about test either. One of those who didn't realize how good he really was and always makes you take notice. He outshined his more hyped teammate often this Spring/Summer and Isaiah Austin is immensely talented.

BTW---Robert Kirby's work shouldn't be undersold here. House/Pollard were two of the best players in Orlando--and Kirby lived at their games.

Kirby is a real pro. Gotta love the effort. The results will follow.

off the board, to Houston. Go figure.
If the kid was going to stay home, best to get it over with.
good luck to him.

In all seriousness this was odd timing. He had an in home visit with texas yesterday and he was scheduled to have an in home visit with us today. If only he had held off one day. Perhaps we could have changed his mind. Probably not, but you like to at least get a chance to convince a kid.

Maybe Texas and Georgetown told him they were going in another direction.

House and Chicken Knowles both commit to Houston. Also lead for Wanaah Bail. Looks like Dickey is up to his old ways again.
"Dickey's best team was the Texas Tech's 1996 unit, which finished 30–2, including an undefeated record in the final season of Southwest Conference play. They won the SWC conference tournament and advanced all the way to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
The Raiders moved to the Big 12 for the 1996–97 season, and appeared to pick up right where they left off with a solid 19–9 season. It was discovered during the inaugural Big 12 basketball tournament, however, that two players were academically ineligible. Hours after the team's first-round game, Texas Tech announced that it was withdrawing from postseason consideration and forfeiting its entire conference schedule. The Raiders had lost that game, and would have had to forfeit it if they had won.
A subsequent investigation revealed massive violations dating back to 1990 in men's basketball and nine other sports (though Dickey himself was not personally implicated). As a result, the NCAA stripped Tech of its two NCAA tournament wins in 1996 and docked it nine scholarships over four years.[2] The lost scholarships were too much for Dickey to overcome, and he tallied four straight losing seasons before being fired in 2001.
He was announced as the head coach of the Houston Cougars on April 1, 2010."

lost to GU in the Sweet 16. That was those Darvin Ham teams. He could flat out rise.
Houston's been scramblin since Guy Lewis left. Remember, Clyde Drexler was their coach for a minute... almost literally.
